randonmess oh my god i just can't believe you, what a wonderful way you have of writing about your adventures...derek's comments sure are funny, when the two of you are together, you always keep me laughing .... miss you but you are doing everything i never had the confidence to try. matt is missing you and derek but is spending time on his school work yea right, love and hugs!
Cool stuff duuuude! But, I think you can do better than a parrot for a boyfriend, considering you're surrounded by Australian stud muffins and slam hoes. (dan added that one in). Miss you!
Bucket List Your Aunt Meg is talking bucket list simply because she has the dreaded flu that is taking down half of NewJersey. Her (your) dresser looks like a medicine cabinet of a Ninety year old. The poor dear is delirious. As for the dolphin spitting we know the real story! I think her pretty smile got her in some trouble when the handsome instructor was helping her. It was great hearing from you. I miss you more than you know. xoxox Mom
Unbelievable! Good Lord...you are doing all the things I have wanted to do my whole life! OK...I am putting my bucket list in your hands (things you want to do before kicking the bucket!)...chances are I won't be able to accomplish it. I always wanted to swim with a dolphin (you were with me...the thing spit in my face! Thanks to Mama Sama making me laugh during class instruction!). I always wanted to hold a Koala, a baby Monkey and a baby Tiger. So, make me proud Linds! I won't even be jealous! I can't wait to read about the wildlife park adventure!! How cool!! love and miss you!
Thank you for the koalua Lindsay, you came through with my request! I thought you would be hugging one but you had a used up poor thing, the k-bear I mean. You should be a writer , I so enjoy reading all your experiences and hang on every word. Take care of yourself and stay healthy. We love and miss you! I will make you a quilt when you come home, it will be special. Don;t rush me though, it took me 3 years to complete Jade's wedding gift. Love and Hugs, Nan, Pop
I just got your BLOG! So my mom just sent me your link . . . I have two seconds, so I haven't read everything else yet. I am so jealous of your adventures. Well, maybe not the poop and dead creatures part. I have my own poop to contend with here. I am so in need of a koala pic copy. That is the coolest EVER!! It is amazing all of the things you can intelligently converse about. Quite impressive from a blonde, you know ;)
lindsay your boyfriend seems a little frisky! Poor Pedro...
Derek, what brings you to Boston? How long have you been here for? I'm working at Children's Hospital in the Longwood Medical Area. I agree... the cold weather and snow are really starting to annoy me.
I wouldn't befriend a cassowary those cassowaries look terrifying. I googled it. I can't believe the ocean is 78 degrees! That's a bath. Was the rainforest creepy to walk through? Was it noisy from all the animals or was it really quiet? Sounds like an adventure none the less!
ps project runway is almost over! wish you were here to critique the outfits with me... christian is fierce!
oh yay We got six inches of snow here on Friday. Another inch on Saturday. It is 24 degrees outside. I have 26 days left to go.
Notice I didn't have anything AWESOME to say.
Yeah.

You are doing the coolest stuff ever! I'm beyond happy for you! Just keep in mind how to properly feed a tiger cub if and when one comes into the clinic...HAHA! Can't wait for the next post! Oh and by the way, I saw those pics of you on facebook dancing the night away with someone who wasn't me...HOW COULD YOU!? JK! You better be out dancing. Rep Jerz always! MISS YOU!
st patricks day is coming up... sorry forgot to mention last time.... st patricks day is coming up and i think you should join and celebrate with the irish boy. what a lucky girl you are... 2 english boys and an irish boy. If he looks anything like the guy from across the universe i recommend tying the knot asap.
i totally want a joey I cant believe you carry joeys around! Is there any way you can take one back to NJ? They look so cute. I don't know how you're handling those birds. They look scary.
awesome awesome awesome lindsay!
holy crap! LINDSAY! oh my god thank you so much for sending me the link to your blog! I was reading above and I got goosebumps. this trip is one of those things that everyone wants to do at some point in their lives and you're actually doing it. what a dream come true. i am so happy you didn't get eaten by sharks. oh and kudos for being able to scuba dive first time around... i tried and was super congested and it was bad news bears. ok i could type for awhile but i'm going to sum this all up:
I'M SO PUMPED FOR YOU! can't wait to read the rest!
(scuba guy sounded very cute hehe)
Hi Derek! OK...now I'm looking forward to your entries as well! I literally was laughing hysterically at your comment this morning! Sorry, it does sound like things are hectic but you write about it so well! Would you maybe consider a Boston blog for all of our enjoyment!? Love you, Aunt Meg
living your dream Dragging me into pet stores for half a lifetime has paid off. I'm so glad your doing what you love. So many people give up on their dreams. Keep living and learning! That's what life is all about. I Love You, Mom
Why is your life so awesome? Why is it every time we both do similar things (like going to college or like...this), your experience is totally AWESOME and mine is totally SUCK? I think I was Jack the Ripper in a previous life and I'm paying my karmic debt in this life.
Anyway, while you are hopping around Australia with Larry the Tiny Mutant Mammal, I'm hanging on to the last $1 I have to my name. Turns out my bank, which is awesome, decided to issue me a new card a year ahead of time, invalidating my current card. I just know Dad threw it out somehow and I'm going to starve to death.
Speaking of Dad, he "accidentally" trapped Flower in the basement for a day. Confidence in him: Waning.
Oh and since I have nothing else better to do, I'm formulating a plan to somehow get a photo of the girl that works the front desk. Yeah, NOT CREEPY. I swear to God she's a hallucination or something. Maybe my grip on reality is slipping as it's coated in ice due to it being so cold here and therefore harder to hold on to.
Now that I've announced to the readers of your blog that they should pre-emptively get a restraining order against me, I'm going to do some homework.
Oh my GOD! Lindsay, I have been sitting here crying with joy at the experiences you are having. The animals are precious and I love the pictures. I wish I could join you by joining the peace corps! ha ha, a limping associate. Keep up the great work, hugs, love , Nanny and Pop
Enjoying every minute of this blog! No need to be humorous or witty. This is truly amazing what you are doing and reading about it makes us all so happy and proud of you! Continue on this incredible journey and once in awhile get some sleep!!! Love ya, Aunt Meg

Miss you, Love you Well ms Lindsay, it snowed today and its real pretty. I guess by now you are working in the hospital. Any Kaolas yet? take photos when you can.
