St Raphael has been really nice. It's very upmarket which has affected our budget but the accomodation wasn't too pricey and was very nice - an actual hotel! The beach was so nice again, the sea was so refreshing! Have had a few problems trying to book the next train to Italy but I guess that's part of the fun of travelling. Our tans are starting to look good but we've both been bitten by mosquitos which isn't good - mine's turned big and purple so a trip to the pharmacy is in store! The trains have been a lot better than I expected; even better than England. It's been so good seeing the coastline while on the train aswell as having a bit of a giggle. Without any hostel booked or any idea of where anything was we managed to hop on a train to Barcelona and find a random hostel to stay in. Turns out the hostel is dirt cheap and more like a hotel, very nice indeed and even has a small balcony. We are loving Barcelona, so much to do and see. The buildings are amazing! We are off to see the Picasso Gallery and the Gaudi Sagrada Familia tomorrow after enjoying a drink on the balcony tonight. Having a great time and such a giggle, starting to get used to the heat aswell which is good as we were dying in the heat yesterday in Salou. ... read more
