Go, MTV Girl! Ha! Another great read. Shoot, I wouldn't've know who he was, either. It's sweet that you knew his song, though. I loved me some Three Six Mafia back in the day. (Shoot, I sure wish I could your pics, but I've tried in two different browsers and it ain't happenin'.)
Again, you have me crackin' UP! Mouth organism? The food is one of my top 5 reasons for wanting to travel there. How wonderful that you met people as nice as Hugo. See what happens when you open yourself to new experiences and not be all scared. Although I AM scared for you when I'm reading some of these, it's funny that I'm just as open to people when I travel. Strange, huh?
Go on girl!!!! So I see you are doing the damn thing on MTV and what not. Hope things are well with you. Looks like you are having a blast. Are you still slated to come back in May or June?? Just wondering because I was going down to NYC in the summer. Aayway go on and do the damn thing.
Woot Woot! I'm so glad you made it out, girly! I hopr that you truly find the healing that you need in your travels through God! May he bring you back home to us safely, if that is his will, or keep you out and about away from this messed up country, if that is his will!
Love you, Chica!
GIIIRRRRRRRRLLLLLLL...... You don't know how happy I am for you!! Not just from this blog but the fact that you have so much courage to do this alone. Honestly, I'm not suprised!!
You are definitely in my prayers and in my heart!! Just be safe and keep in touch. Luv U girl!
That's is great! Girl...Life is sweet, especially when you get to live so freely. By the way, I am still not sure who Mim happens to be, but Akon ... I enjoy numbers 7, 8, and 10 on his newest cd. Thanks for just being, Melissa!
Video girl Hmmm...my my my, Melissa, its so interesting to see that you actually went back to Cancun for the second time??!!@@!!! Is this coming from the same girl whom once stated during lunch one day that "Cancun..I dont like that crowd, i'm more into seeing the country"! Blah Blah Blah....Well look at you now! You about to be a VIDEO GIRL, lol. It's really good to see that you are indeed having an adventure...can't wait to see what happens next. Miss ya
Live it up! I love your style of writing on your blog. I can't wait to see what you do while expeirencing your adventure. It is very rare people venture out the concrete jungle. I, myself have never regreted traveling around the world. It's my "crack"! Bless, you and be safe and wise!!
hahahah Pictures are really worth many words. I, too wish I could be there to expereince the culture of Mexico with you. In the meantime, I will live my life vicariously through you... and people wonder why I walk around with a smirk on my face :0).
Wow I am soooo jealous!!!! It sounds like you are having a ball. Wish I was with you instead of sitting at my desk drooling at your pictures:) Can't wait for the next installment.
Jealous Man it sound like you are having so much fun, you know if you ever need anything while you are out there I got you. But how are you just going to stop in the middle of a sentence, i want to know who you meant.... LOL... I am supposed to be working and I am all in your blogs. By the way Hugo looks a little scary, you braver than me.
IM SO PROUD OF YOU! Hey Chica, I am so proud of you! Not many people have the courage to do what you are doing. Please be safe, who would ever think that us Brooklyn girls would grow up to be strong and powerful, you in Mexico and me in Japan. If you ever make over this way to Okinawa Japan be sure to stop by ;0). Oncce again please be safe and stay intouch.
Have Fun!! and be safe I'm wishing right now that I was in your shoes(man if I didn't have kiena I would be right next to you). But anyway have a safe trip and don't worry about kayla, me and kiena are keeping a close eye on her.
So happy for you So I could write something funny, but I'm feeling sentimental...the blog is awesome, I will be checking on you regularly, I am so proud of you and think you're really courageous, and I'm jealous that you're there and I'm here (think wind tunnels down the avenues when it's 13 degrees). Be safe and have the time of life! Love ya, Ali
IM LOVING UR BLOG! IM JUST PROUD THAT U ARE TAKING A CHANCE ON LIFE LIKE THAT. KNOWING ME, I KNOW I COULDNT DO IT. U HAVE TO KEEP ME POSTED ON UR DAILY ACTIVITIES. TAKE CARE OF URSELF!
G'Luck I am so proud of you for taking this trip and happy you have decided to make me a part of it by sharing your experiences with us through this blog. Have me in mind while you travel around that part of the world and enjoy yourself! From your Jewish friend in Brooklyn...peace out Melissa!
God will watch over you I recall seeing you days before you left and you appeared overwhelmed. I know that this is something that you've been wanting to do. It is what it is. I'll pray that you have a safe trip and I will look over your sister.
She ran to me today and told me that she spoke with you and that she missed you. She'll be ok. I know she never got a chance to go swimming, so I'll take her with me to the Y with the girls.
The funny thing about people is , you never know who you encounter. I´m a 24 year old fabulous lady from NY. On the road for technically six months, form NY to Central America. Hope you enjoy my travels, as much as I hopefully will. Please feel free to leave comments and well wishes, anything else....keep to your self. Ciao Bella!!
