some squawking... I've always wanted a koala!!!! Animal tales from this side of the world: this weekend I went to a party down on the docks for the opening of boat season. At one point, myself all buzzed on vodka, I heard the seagulls getting all worked up about something--looking up to witness two in the midst of a brawl to the death on top of a boathouse. All the other seagulls squawking and making a huge racket, gathering on all the surrounding roof tops and agging the whole scene on. there was even what looked like a ref ministering over the two as they pinned each other down with their beaks. this went on for a good ten minutes or so, before they finally flew off their separate ways to cry and heal their wounds in solitude. You see, we are not that different. We are all just animals. - Em
I've always wanted a wombat! Can you bring one back for me? Pleeeeaassse!!! :) I promise I'll take care of it. I'll take it for walks and brush it's fur every day. They have fur right? - AJ
To the cold!!!! What an amazing journey!!!!! Go Diana, what a way to live your dreams. I look forward to seeing you again (hopefully after you have showered, but if not I will promptly let you use my shower(so nice of me??)). Later, Windy - Windy
Hey Diana! So I guess when you've been on the road as long as you have that "unsanitary" translates to "laid back" :) I think McDonald's is risky enough without the latex! Anyway, as always I love reading about your journeys. It makes for a nice escape. I'm expecting a book to come out of this you know. These blogs are like the trailers at the movies, I WANT MORE :) Keep having fun and be safe!

Weird! Can I hire you when you come back? Nice vision of you with your arms up to the elbows in flour with a hanky on your head and cussing like a sailor. What has happened to our sweet dear?
Canyon Swing Diana, You are a legend!! Well done on completing your swing!! Elvis and the team remember you fondly!! Thanks for the great write up and all the best for the rest of your travels and adventures. Go Hard!!! The team at Canyon Swing - Greg
WHoa! Okay, and there was no way I could talk you into going into cold water?! :)
Good stuff - there is also a Bungee Jumping place that is similar to this and you jump into the canyon from a very tall bridge that is above it. So, I suppose sky diving is next - the free fall there is even longer: about 30 secs.... - Ameriski
Dirty laundry Hey Diana,
Wow what an adventure!!! I think you should totally hook up with the bus driver
that doesn't believe in baths for the "cultural experience" laugh. You will
have to bring back rainbow money, I am so curious to see what it looks like :).
I am glad you are seeing cool things, waterfalls are totally neat. How
exciting!! - Windy
Standby One of 15! Too bad, standby can be maddening, even in San Fran. Not much can be said other than hang in there and know you have my sympathy. - UNOHOO
Heh...Kiwi land! Hey Diana. Thanks for inviting me to your farewell night, heh. At any rate, good luck in Kiwiland. Hopefully you'll get there before the month is out. Good luck with the veggies/fruits that you meet/eat there.
