Happy New Year Looks like we are missing you by a day. We got off the Mariner on Dec 21 and will be boarding the Voyager in Auckland
On January 26 for Singapore. We arrive in Auckland on the 23rd. Tell me again when you will be sailing out of LA.
Happy Ner Year Hey Susan & Kevin! Sounds like a wonderful, fun & festive cruise & great pics! We wish you a very happy & healthy 2017! Miss you. Love, Mary Ann & Bobby
Happy New Year! Great to see that you're sailing the seven seas with Silverseas! My second favorite line, especially the dinner/dances ( Not something that was available on Regent)
FL to NZ We love your sense of adventure. Luna is beautiful. There is truly nothing like family. The story of the Everglades gets lost in the U.S. And we cannot wait to see you in NZ!!
Joanne Joanne died suddenly at home on October 12. I think her pacemaker battery ran out and her life ended as if you turned off a light switch. It was certainly a good way to go. Our 64years of marriage has ended but every inch of our house is a monument to Joanne so she always will be with me. I just got back from her funeral in our hometown of 'Fremont, Ohio. Since I have not been further than Avon/Edwards in the last three years, I have an urge to resume traveling after things get settled. If a cruise gets into my plans I will check with you as both of you have been so important to us. Paddle tennis on the Regent ships has been a highlight. Love, Ted
Enjoyed your trip again w/ you. six of us are off to Nashville this wk. to visit and stay w/ a lovely Southern belle we met on our last Crystal trip.
Two up coming Crystal trips planned for May and July. Would love to do something on the new Explorer:-)
Thx for keeping me on your travel blogs. And enjoy your new home!
REALITY HURTS Your trip to the airport reminded me of our Alaskan cruise on the Mariner. Upon arriving at the airport, and out of the arms of Mariners staff, Pat and I were tripping over our luggage, repack in it on the floor, and just had a terrible time getting our luggage Checked. You get so spoiled with everything being done for you on board that you forget how to function on your own. Makes me smile to remember.
Panama Canal I visited the new locks last year - before they were operational. Sliders not swingers. Got to drive over the locks while under construction. Huge works. Looking forward to seeing the whole thing being functional when we go through there in January on the Explorer. Don't know if you know that Mike's brother just passed away a few days ago. He had been ill for some time but it is still hard to accept. Mike and Sherry are trying to recover.
Navy! Navy beat #6 Houston! It must be the seaweed! Hurricane Matthew did a number on S. Catolina blocking I-95 and slowing our efforts to return to FL. Gotta get to Costa Rica! Enjoy!
Glad to see you are going strong. Acapulco was our first "forgien" trip when we lived in California. That was a long time ago. We've had to cancel trips in the past year, one was on Swiss Air for a river cruise when Joe's Passport was stolen aboard the plane and the other a 21 day cruise on Oceana from Malta to Miami last month. We are 90 and 82 and I
guess should be staying home.
You both look great an d thanks for keeping up.
Our Best, Tony and Joe
Back on the Voyager Hi Kev & Susan,
Glad to see you're into the swing of things on the Mariner! We're on the Voyager starting end of December for 18 days going from Singapore to Sydney. We wish you were aboard!
Nice to see you're back on the Mariner Hi Kevin and Susan - nice to read your blog. We'll be on the Mariner starting 10/11 for the fall foliage trip NYC to Montreal.
Congratulations on New House Congratulations on the new house. We have spent lots of time in that part of Florida and enjoyed it tremendously. Next year will be a slow-down cruise year for us while we work on house renovations and new cars. Plan to be back on the high seas in 2018.
WOW HOME OWNERS!!!! How wonderful to receive all this news from you two. I wondered where you had gone. Love your new home. Great you kept your boat for living on both coasts. I wish I was abroad the Mariner once again. I enjoyed the pictures of her.
Great to hear from you two! Congrats on the new abode and being back at sea. I always enjoy reading your very descriptive blogs. They almost make me want to go to sea again... (too much haze gray!)

Back on the high seas So good to read your blog. You have been off the grid for months. I was beginning to worry about you. I think the last time we heard from you you had just purchased your Florida home. It looks just like you with the essential pool and ping pong table. I'll bet you love having a pool in your lanai.
On the road again or, in your case, on the ocean again. I'm sure it feels like old times. We enjoy hearing about and seeing pictures of your travel experiences
We had a good summer at the lake. We probably had the best weather we've ever had. The weather never interfered with, maybe delayed, outdoor plans
We are back in KC and immersed in all things grandkids . They are getting older so all of their activities are on a higher level. Mike is happy to be back in Royals territory. Too bad this year isn't as good as last year.
Keep your blogs a-coming.
