Trawler Couldn't make a positive ID on your trawler. Looks like a Mainship 390 or 400, but not sure. Two cruises remain on our short list...Baltic and Vietnam. Enjoy!

Who are all these old people? It looks like you two are having fun. We had a good trip up to Santa Cruz early this month, our first trip "home" in a decade, I think. I read to a huge crowd, a couple of hundred friends and acquaintances, at least, at Bookshop Santa Cruz -- from my memoir, "WHEN I WAS A DYNAMITER, or How a Nice Catholic Boy Became a Merry Prankster, a Pornographer and a Bridegroom Seven Times," (available now not only from amazon.com but also at Bookshop Santa Cruz!). Henry Mello would've enjoyed the whoopdeedoo! My dad would've been interested in your itinerary! But he would have had to learn about URLs, PDFs and other new-fangled stuff, so he died as his travel-writing era came to a close (mostly because of Internal Revenue laws, I suspect). Things in La Habra, the Athens of Orange County, are pretty dull. Health-wise we're OK today after a year that saw me almost die last November (2014) from sepsis and starting in January began to focus on Chris's lymphoma, which, thankfully, was stopped with a half-dozen chemo treatments. Stay healthy and don't get old! Aloha, Lee
Ah the good life Enjoyed your pictures and update on the life of Kevin and Susan. You two look great and obviously enjoying life. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Carol

Traveling You guys are always full of surprises. Missed seeing you while you were here, but maybe next year. Enjoyed the reunion postures-looks like it WAS fun.

Merry Christmas and you are obviously going to have a Happy New Year!!
Dick
Our best to you two great people. What ship will you be sailing on this time? We have a 65th anniversary coming up this winter--it would be great to spend it on one of your segments. Our best to you. Nelson and Gladys
Madagascar tips? Hello,
I would like to ask you for tips in regards what tour operator to use when travelling to Madagascar and what countries I can visit on my way there? I have read that it is best to travel via Paris and fly to Mauritius and from there continue travelling to Madagascar? This way I can visit both countries. Or does anybody have other tips what countries to visit on my way there?
Also, are you aware of any tour operator which is run locally in Madagascar? I have looked at UK Explorer etc but I think I would prefer a private tour. So far I have found http://www.madagascarwildlifetours.com/ - does anybody have any experience with them? And does anybody have any tips about places in Madagascar other than promoted by the 'typical' travel agencies? So far, I have decided to go the capital, visit several parks to see lemurs, go canoeing and visit several beaches. I would, however, also like to see more of the culture - such as visiting local villages - does anybody have any tips where to go please to get the real experience?
Fair Winds What a beautifully written ending to what seems like a beautifully sailed cruise. Enjoy the Sunshine State, and see you here in the West soon.
Really enjoyed your blog again this year My brother and I just finished the Queen Elizabeth World Cruise. No Cruisespecialists hosts, but the Virtuoso people (Deidre and Kim ) were great. Will be taking the Holland America Voyage of the Vikings roundtrip Boston in July/August with Sean.....Hope to see you guys again sometime...........Take care.
Wold Cruise Dear Susan & Kevin, you may not remember us, but we have traveled with you as Cruise Specialists hosts in the past. We thoroughly enjoyed each description of cities, countries and sites that are familiar to us
and relish the thoughts of visiting new ones. Thanks for taking us along on your journey.
