Laosing around I was particulary looking forward to your blog on this country given the American "involvement". It looks like a lovely place and well worth the visit. I look forward to your next blog.
Walking in Harmony with Giants What a wonderful experience, I am delighted and proud that you have both sought out these profound experiences throughout your journey and shared them with us so beautifully. I am also delighted that it won't be long till you are both home and able to relate your tales in person. Till then, keep safe on the journey which leads you home. A huge warm hug around you both, with love, yer Ma.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
tusks trunks & tails I loved the blog and was very touched. You are both very privledged to have been able to be so close to these beautiful animals. They have soul. Well done Lek for rescuing these animals. It seemed very appropriate to be reading such a special story on Christmas Eve. The world could do with more Leks. Elephants never forget. Enjoy the last few weeks of your travels. Lots of love thinking of you both xxxx
You clearly enjoyed yourselves here. It is amazing what one lady has achieved through her dedication. You will not forget these elephants and I am sure they will remember you for your kindness.
Elephant Fun I loved your blog on the elephants. I was in Thailand in 1980 and visited an elephant park. I suppose it must have been a touristy one. They seemed really well treated though and we watched them bathing in the water. Later we were allowed to feed them and even have a ride on their backs. I was lifted up via the trunk. It was a really great experience. Have a great Christmas, wherever you are.
Marvellous Malaysia Have just read your Malaysian blog, all these gorgeous beaches sound amazing. I see tony has the beard again - he will need it when you get back to Scotia! We are going to miss all these fabulous blogs when you get back. Lots of love Christine & John xx
Merry Christmas! I wanted to wish you both a very happy holiday season as you enjoy what sounds like the last month (or weeks?) of your incredible journey. Keep the amazing photos coming--they certainly cheer up a dreary winter's day. See you in 2009!

Life's A Beach I think Fiji spoiled you for lovely beaches. They still looked lovely to me. The kayaking looked good fun. You must be experts by now. Keep safe & having fun. Loads of love xxxxxx
More incredible journeys by train, boat and bus! You clearly need to stop buying first class tickets.
Now I know why the Shore Bar closed. The barman could not whirl flaming orbs on chains round his head for peanuts.
A taste of the orient You have certainly given us the varied flavours of Malaysia. Loved the photos especially the one of both of you in tuk tuk. Happy Days. Lots of love xxx
Fish n Fun in Fiji & cocktails Glad you found a chance for rest & relaxation in your hectic itenirary. That is my idea of a beach not a sun bed or umbrella in sight. The snorkling looks amazing. Stunning photos. Love n hugs to you both. xx
The Usual Suspects You even manage to create adventure traveling from South Island to North. Glad you could spend time with Ian. Looks like you had fun. Geysertastic.
Fiji Fun Fiji looks so nice, just what you imagime an island paradise to look like. The snorkeling looks amazing, I think I'd be hearing that chello play though. Look forward to the next instalment of your amazing trip
