Ya, I remember..... ....the hassling in about 5 different languages. Although, I went on a tour with my Spanish school and a group of us were there....we did just go right to main places in Chef Chaouen and didn't get the hassling as bad but it was still very prominent. So, it was an enjoyable place for me ( a part from the mounds of random garbage in the market and Street....and the smell)...although I didn't quite as rough it as you did....and I did stay in some lavish places that were already organized. Anyway, good that your experiencing it....I found Morracco kept my sensesalert and alive!!!!!....loved the food!
if you can.... I can't remember if it is near Lagos or not....but try and make a trip to the most westerly point in Europe which I think you can get to from Lagos...it is beautiful and interesting. Also, don't drink too much beer if you go to Joe's Garage (I think that's the name , if it's still there)...I had never had such a bad hangover in my life...(I think it was bad taps) Loved Lagos...beautiful quaint covy beaches as I'm sure your walking on or wandering around as I type this ....lucky you!!! cheers! Salud!
I should have given you some Spanish ...lessons! Sounds like your on a whirlwind here.....can't catch up... holy blogs....great, I love them. Enjoy Spain....one of my fav. Western European countries......are you heading south at all?....this way you can head into some "calor" heat! Make sure you go to Barcelona....and give it a kiss for me....Granada too,...if you can...oooh I'm soo jealous. Happy wandering. I saw your papi today, they found out about me working through my comment on your blog...isn't that funny!..... Hi neighbours Cathie and Kevin! Kylee and Kristie, too!
Anyway, happy wandering! read from you soon. Hey, your so lucky you have this travel blog....it's going to make for a great scrapbook!!!....easy too! Take Care, Kath

Amsterdam You've hit the pavement and wasted no time I see by the pic's , looks great and I cannot believe how many bikes/cyclists there are. Are you going to rent one to see any of the sites.
cheers to adventures and discoveries ahead of you in this stretch of your travels.
Be safe ! I just have to say that out loud to you. Mom
Celebrations far and wide As usual, your writing and descriptions have me feeling like I'm right there beside you. Albeit, you are right nothing like a Christmas being shared with family and we missed you too so very much.

who hat et er may.... ...that means how are you?, in dutch...not spelt like that btw..only the English phonetics! Didn't you find the red light district a bit cheesy?!? I thought it was kind of funny! Anyway, if your still there.....I would really recommend the Ann Frank House....the museum is filled with lots of interesting things and you see where she hid. I really liked it. Do the Heiniken Brewery tour for some fun....I don't know if they still have it ...but it was $2 when I was there and they give you munchies and as much beer as you can drink in 45 minutes....it's all coming back...oh, and the Van Gogh museum too......oh, I wish I was with you. Anyway, glad your discovering the world! I've got a new job now working at a Bailiff office, 2 to 3 days a week. It's good, busy, interesting and it's on Rougemount.....so, when the weather gets warmer I can walk. Anyway, stay safe and clear of those eet cafes! ;) wishing you a lot of fun, Kath
Strippers There's nothing wrong with the Brass Rail!!! How else would you make money while in Europe?? And you know damn well that you'd be good at it!!
PS can't wait til you get back to Canada!! This whole "away from Nalinda" phase has gotten way out of hand!
Enjoy your journey! Hey Katie!

Did Santa get there? Very impressive !- gingerbread from scratch- Xmas stockings - what a smart gal you are! Can hardly wait for the next episode. Hope you are keeping warm - I understand the winter is bad this year over there. Not so hot here either -24 -(wind chill -37 ) today LOL margery
Fun, food and laughter! I just love the fact that you have met such wonderful friends that they even cook for you. I can hardly wait until you come home and we can make some of the great dishes that you have tasted. Food, fun and laughter what more can you want in life, except a crazy Irish story teller, Scott sounded like he was extremely entertaining.
