Is it wrong to say I'm sorry you're home?
I have thoroughly enjoyed my travels with you both! Your descriptiveness, humor, photos...I almost feel as though I was there! Thank you for sharing your incredible journey. Again I say...I really do see a book in these blogs. You have brought to life places that most will never get to experience like you have. Kudos to you both! So proud to call you family and friends! Much love!!

Terrific blogs
I have thoroughly appreciated every blog, as usual. Glad you had such an exotic trip and glad you're home. Your writing is a delight both for the descriptive date and for your writing skills. Love you

So sorry to hear about the panic attack. Our experience with kids was quite the opposite but you never know! Good one on the drugs! Never leave home without them!

Don't go home yet! Who will I travel with now?!?!
I just read your last 3 blogs, which I saved for when I had time to enjoy them and escape with you. I read them out loud to Mitch on a snowy morning in NY, with hot coffee, heat and other expected accouterments, feeling guilt for what we take for granted. On some level we are aware of the hardships of life outside the US......but reading your blogs, traveling with you, getting to know the people you met....it's now personal and real and incredible! We are grateful that you shared this experience with us....wonder if we could do a trip like this too...Love you both, my incredible cousins...<3 PS...I see a novel of sorts in these blogs...happy to discuss if you're interested. Thinking maybe for teens...to expose them in an interesting way to life outside of the US...?

Love it! Can't wait to see your faces again. Portland is cold and rainy, and Mooschi is hanging in there pretty well. Thanks for sharing your vacation! xoxoxo M

Mooschi!!!
Okay, we were toying with not braving the weather after traveling so long but if Mooschi will hang on, we're going to re-think our re-thinking very seriously!

Coincidence
Hey you two, I think you are home by now but I just watched a little video on my app 7 Jours Sur La Planete about this town. Theme: how the blue city is trying to go green. :) Went back here to confirm same town. Sounds like another great travel adventure was had. Glad for you! Happy New Year! xoxo

Green
Chefchouen's green comes form being the formost cannabis farming region in a country where hash is the #1 income generator! However, for the "other green," outside the city of Ouarzazate, we saw the world's largest solar collector, which provides 580MW!

How was the vibe?
From these photos and your descriptions I can imagine being there. What’s the vibe like? It’s ironic that you’re confronted with a dead animal as a lunch option. You can really get a reality of That crazy food chain thing.

Awesome trip
We are doing a deep dive on your blogs (I read while MM listens) and we're loving the journey. Just getting out of Spain now. Sorry we haven't been following up until now but things have been a bit crazy and frankly, the blogs aren't sent to us so we had to ask Rene where they were and she sent us a link today on Xmas. Snow here is really shitty so we're going go come home a couple of days early and hope to spend New Year's eve with you and get even more of a download...but we will be very caught up by then.:)

Food compromises
I must say Julie looks less than thrilled with the lamb on offer. You two are meeting the food challenges with grace. Are you digestive systems cooperating? Architecture is unsurprisingly stunning. Thx for sharing your adventures...xoxo

It's all good
The lamb was pretty tasty but not much to share. Our systems are good. No issues at all really. Even the overabundance of bread hasn't been an issue for Julie.

Sorry you missed it. Our AirBnB host told us about the Alcazar but not the Game of Thrones connection. Not that it would have made an impression since we may be the only ones on the planet that don't watch the show. Happy you found some sexy people and some vegan fare. Well played friends!

Nice to see it again
Hey you two, we have some similar pics and experience w.r.t. the cathedral. We also enjoyed the views (and captured some) from the walk up more than at the top. Pretty damn impressive altar, no? Great get on the flamenco again. Good for you! And we couldn't agree more about Seville being actually Spain. xo
