Placenta Scuba diving footage surreal and a touch scary. Glad you didn't get attacked. Steve Irwin - the Croc Hunter - had an unfortunate encounter with a sting ray recently which you probably haven't heard about. I don't know if those things were sting rays but you are a braver person than me for getting in there amongst them.
And I always suspected you of being a coke dealer...police must not have checked thoroughly enough...
What a trip and blog Wow. This is really something. Perhaps I do not have to see the sights in person as the words of the blog bring it alive. Well done on the journey and the journalism. And, welcome back to the real world. :):)
A pleasure Hi boy!It has been a pleasure to read your blog and enjoy with and learn from your experience.
What's that u said about not taking a plane again!!!!????? U have to go back to Spain someday!!! La Manga and Madrid are waiting for your return!
Lots of luv. Hope 2 have news from u soon!Take care!XXX
Wow! What a trip. You do manage to pack in a lot when you travel, don't you? Some travel magazine would love your blog....How to see South America and not miss a thing. Anyway, love your descriptions --- almost feels like I'm there too.....almost. Keep 'em coming.
Luvs!
PS Love the beard, but good thinking on the wedding.
Imaginary pictures Okay, we have a picture of your mis-adventure racked up in our minds. Now we need the real thing but I guess it's mid-Nov for that. It's a good thing you persevered in treking through the snow as the Chilean people I have shared your adventure with have said that a visit to Torres del Paine is a must. And to have seen the spires is a treat as they are more often than not clouded in.
Adventue on and be sure to include some pictures of the Brazilian view of the Atlantic.
Hi there! I burst into laughter when I started reading the "ripio" adventure. I have just finished reading it and Im still cleaning tears falling from my eyes. Ha ha....this is the funniest story Ive heard for a long time! Now you perfectly now what "ripio" means dont u? ;)
Im glad u r having such a wondrous time and thank you for letting me have it as well as I read your blog.
Looking forward to reading the next!!!
Do you remember... Shrek and Spelunking? Wow Adam, what a crazy rental car story! Your (mis)adventures totally remind me of some of my travel experiences. It's such a thrill while it's happening and then you get to reminisce with sweet bewilderment. I wish I was somewhere out there too, so we could run into each other again randomly like we did in Vienna so long ago! Congrats on the call to the bar, and can't wait to see some more pictures...
Hot skiers, ancient ruins and boobs and poo Hey guys
Best blog ever. Artfully written, sensitive, adventurous, and involving alcohol and presumably/hopefully hot international skiers. Respect.
Let it be known that long infrequent blogs are a sure sign that you are having tonnes of fun. Those who blog daily obviously have too much time on their hands, and are not busy navigating floating islands on the world's highest lake, getting smashed with Olympians or traversing endless jungle paradises. Macchu Picho at sunrise - awesome. It sounds like you guys are having the ultimate holiday, and while we all appreciate the updates, I feel a profound sense of envy and disappointment that my own life is so thoroughly boring and uneventful (though I recently ate 2 dominos pizzas without vomiting which compensated a bit).
And lastly, I've heard of Lake Titticaca, but how does that relate to boobs and poo?? Also, I like boobs.
Keep up the dominating.
Stuart (Hong Kong).
I wanna go skiing too. Damn you, I can't believe you went skiing at Portillo...and hung out with the national team too. Now I'm offically jealous. Good luck on Wednesday. Blog more, I like stories and pictures. :o)
The challenges of travel It is most interesting to read of the fantastic adventure as it unfolds. It allows us to share the experiences almost in real time. However, the challenges of the trip, elevation changes, bus fare rip off artists and everthing in between seem modest for a couple of young lawyers (lawyers loosely defined at this point). It is disappointing to learn of Canada's soccer loss in South America but the Canadian press seem to have overlooked the story. Travel on and be careful in respect of establishing relationships with any South American denizens that you might want or feel obliged to introduce to Canada.
you had me at boobs and poo... to answer your question and win the prize (and there better be a pretty sweet prize): Sucre
i also checked out some sweet skiing pics here: http://www.skiportillo.com/gallery/default1-eng.html
Wow! I love your commentary and can't believe what you're experiencing. I have commented before. Did you get it? Let me know if you're getting our comments. Your pictures are great and I'm glad to know both of you are well. Give our love to Bryce and we'll talk soon. Luvs, Mom
This travel blog is a great idea, especially the pictures. Now I'll be able to recognize you at the airport at the end of your trip.
Do tell about the giant spider!
