olympus tree houses what a great place to stay - we visited in May and fell for the place although we were staying in nearby Goynuk in a 5* hotel. The bungalows were excellent value and had the advantage of a bath.
enjoyed your writing very much
Lesson #1 in foreign travel.... ...visa acquisition is NEVER as straightforward or easy as it sounds. I too have learned that one the hard way.
PS -don't trust the people in embassies. They're really just shifty buggers who are jealous that you are travelling and they're not. And no, I'm not still bitter.
well...well...well well, i see you seem to be getting along pretty good, and while i have not kept up regularly with your blog, its pretty cool, i read part of it tonight, sounds like a lot of fun. stay safe, and well...have fun, hope to talk to you soon.
Your totally cool cousin, scott.
Poland = tasty carbs I love how 3/5 of your pictures are about food!! There's no getting enough of the pierogi. Does peanut butter from London taste different? I noticed that they love serving pâté up there. Ugg. Hopefully no trace of that in the peanut butter. Did I ever tell you about the time I mistook a pâté sandwich for tuna? Worst meal ever. love nikki
oh the gelato I love the pictures! Are these yours?? Too bad you've already left...on the other side of that court is the best gelato in the whole city...I hear the chocolate is good, but I will only ever endorse the rasberry. (miss you:-)
The response Thanks for the updates. Spent the weekend in banff and spoke at a Veterinarian Conference. Got a contract after speaking which justifies my trip and the prospect of another contract. Mom came along and enjoyed the shopping while in Banff. The kids are home from school because of the teachers strike and there is a possibility of a larger gereral strike in support of the teachers. HOpe you are doing well and enjoying your trip.
Love. Dad
The OLD DONAU!! Silly!! You were supposed to go for a row on the Old Donau! Ah well. Maybe you can go for a row on the Hungrian part. BUT MAKE SURE YOU EAT before you row. Gee wiz. You've got to eat to stay alive! Glad you're having fun!!! :-)
Greetings and Salutations! I know that my hiatus is leaving many scarred souls and so, as a means to placate said souls, I've created THIS! A small and hopefully somewhat frequent write up of the the days' who's its and what's nots as they appear in my future wayfaring. I hope you enjoy and make sure you write to me.
