the beach!!!
Lovely looking beach and pool....and obviously required with the heat and humidity. Made us think of the beach @ Mooloolaba Q/land where we hope to be soon. Have a safe journey home....and hope we can keep in touch. xx Love to you both.

Total envy
I have been reading your travel blog with pure unadulterated envy until today. When I read about the hordes of school children visiting the Mattencherry Palace I thought oh poor Lynne! Did John queue jump? Remember the Plymouth ferry?!!!! Only joking! You both look really relaxed by the pool. I was particularly envious when you stayed on the houseboat. It looked wonderful. Will the river Dart ever have the same appeal now? You are obviously having the trip of a lifetime. I can't wait to hear about it when we go to the NEC. Loads of love to you both xxxxxxxxxxx

Envious!
This houseboat trip looks to be just up my street, and of course, to be waited on too. You look so relaxed (slightly more so than the earlier cycle ride) Can't wait to sample any culinary tips John has picked up...... Must go now, need to boost up the heating.... Love to you both, Sue. xx N.B. Had coffee with Sushi man!

Houseboat
John/Lynne Sounds like and looks a wonderful place. You both look suitably relaxed in the photos. I enjoyed a recent trip to Roadford reservoir in half term but, in hindsite, I can see that some sunshine and a few palm trees would have enhanced the experience. Looking forward to the next entry/photos. Best regards Paddy

land of surprises
Your houseboat excursion certainly added to your list of transport modes.....now you can add canoes to that too. You must have also experienced a variety of foods.....hope your palates have adapted. Still getting a lot of late summer here, though some thistle down has started to appear so maybe Autumn is not too far away. Travel well xx The Kiwis

Looks so colourful!!
I have sat , on this bitterly cold day, about to snow and been transported into the colour and warmth and hustle and bustle of your travels.... what a trip you are having, Loved seeing again all the Rajestan stuffs; the yellow marigold heaps in the flower markets, all the river scenes and ghats... Glad Lynne is recovered, continue to have a wonderful time. Every good wish.Margaret

Houseboat
This looks like bliss to me! I trust you are making a note of all this delicious cooking and will be running a cookery workshop for us when you get back?? Lovely photos. They contrast with my walk on Dartmoor yesterday where we enjoyed lying snow, lovely sunshine and beautiful views to the coast, but a bit chillier than India!

Very impressed with the change in pictures and commentary. From temples to tea !!! (and bricks) Hope you're both travelling well. Off to Invercargill tomorrow to see my Orth. surgeon for a 1 year check up. Looking forward to being in Brisbane next month. They've had a lot of rain (!!) there. Love to you both.

such colour !!
Hello intrepid travellers....quite blown away by the myriad of colours which seem to be around you everywhere. The flowers especially.....they make me wonder where/how they are grown in such a densely populated area. Lynne, good to know that you are enjoying good health again. Thnx for the wonderful scenes you've shared with us.
