Jan, the 1st postcard arrived yesterday for Ruby......I put it in her letter box for her to discover & she was absolutely thrilled (I think it went to Kindy today for 'show & tell').......another arrived today, so have done the same

Feeling your pain with the bites! @MissMJA says to run a metal teaspoon under hot water then hold it to the bite until you can't tolerate the pain anymore or it goes cold.

Loving the adventures, travelling right there with you.Now what is it with the Chinese and photos - we're travelling through Victoria and at a very crowded Apollo Bay a young Chinese lady gestures to me and her camera and I said 'of course'
and moved to take the camera ready to capture her and her ancient, wizened grandma. No, grandma wanted me in the photo with her! Very strange, but of course I just laughed and posed with her. Wonder what her caption will read? Strange Australian woman with no grandchildren?

After climbing all these stairs you will beat me up the DJ stairs every time I fear! The return to term went well today - I didn't scare SL off (at least she tells me she is coming back tomorrow!) Your stories are becoming a bit of a night
time ritual for me - puts a smile on my face every time.
