...and exhausted! I've been up since 3:30 A.M. DFW airport to Miami, Miami to Guatemala City, shuttle to Antigua. The flights were uneventful...shared a flight with ungodly, yes ungodly, amounts of missionaries with 'Jesus loves you' shirts on. Meh...I won't go there. I met several interesting people and had fascinating coversations on the shuttle from Guatemala City to Antigua. I'm liking this already! *Retired man from Boulder- Is a RPCV from Sri Lanka circa '62-'64; he was one of the originals! He gave me a very interesting, balanced (honest) view of his service...no rose colored glasses, which I'm always grateful for. Although I'm sure things have changed quite a bit since '62.
