It sounds like you did so many fun things in Thailand! I love the pictures with the elephants! Looks like you are still having so much fun, but we can't wait for you to come home in 3 weeks!
MASSAGES = HEAVEN Hi Steph and Jay - Your Mom will kill me for saying this, but once you book your flights home, how will I visit all these parts of the world I know I will never get to??? I so enjoy your commentary, and if either of you decide to give up accounting, you might want to go into journalism, standup comedy or authoring a book. It's been so much fun receiving your blogs and visiting these places through your words and pictures. Continue to explore and have fun 'til the bitter end...and do come home, sooner rather than later (that's the Mom talking in me). Be safe...Hugs, Mrs. Sullo
First Blog Steph, your mom just forwarded the blog site to me. Your narrative is really terrific. It has me reliving my travels to Africa without the foot massages, of course. I love the floating bartender. I will stay tuned into this extraordinary great adventure. Please add any comments about weather conditions. Although it would appear everyday is a spectacular beach day.
Did you miss any sights or beaches? Did you miss any place or any sight? It is unbelievable how you two get around. Great sights and lots of nice beaches. What is not to like?? This is an amazing experience for you both. Hoboken and the city will seem so boring to you.
We miss you, Love Mom Pitofsky
I had to respond to THIS blog, because I want to know if Jay swam laps at the beach the way he swam them in the pool in Greenport. Also, do you think we should hire your bartender for your next visit!!!! Enjoy Cambodia.
Love and miss you guys. Gogo
finally an intelligent and concise historical review. The people of Vietnam wanted their sovereignty and independence. America, unfortunately, saw it as a fight against communism. Good to see you guys having a great time.
Bargain like a New Yorker! Glad to see you guys are bargaining your way through Asia! I hope some of our Shenzhen tactics paid off! Steph, bet like you were glad to have that new rain jacket- our helper will love Jay's reject one.
So you've been blogging behind my back eh? I should start this blog in a typical way I guess...G'Day.
I can't believe how awesome this blog is. I've got to admit, never really been into blogs myself but this one is fantastic. I'm still trying to find the cable to link my camera to the computer so I can send you all my photos. Something you'll find about Asian countries is a difference is space. From my experience people are far more comfortable standing very close to each other (sometimes this is a necessity), as opposed to Australians or Americans who have a wider personal space area...interesting don't you think. I though I would also comment on your comment that Aussies are quick to tell you about our deadly creatures. Its actually all a ploy to keep the tourism to a minimum. It ensures that Club Med or Hilton don't set up on Whitehaven etc... But keep the secret for us...no worries.

nooo....(shake fist in air) Did you at least drop one on the floor in my honor?
Hope they were delicious and be sure to eat them many more times beofre you leave.
...mmm...soup dumplings....
purse queen All those bags! I, too, am jealous!!! I love the story about the guy in the ceiling. We took the kids to Chinatown(NY) in the fall. Maddie still follows me around saying "pocketbook, pocketbook, DVD, DVD, 5 dollar". I guess they learn how to do that in China!!! Have a safe trip! Marg, Mike, Nick and Mad
Hand Bag Heaven! Oh... my... god.. all those hand bags!! Ask me how jealous I am?! Then again you probably figured that out by now. :)
Glad you guys arrived safe and sound into HKG. Also glad to hear you made it through to Taipei. I wasn't joking about "proof of onward travel".
Safe travels!
Sherri :)
Asia Hi guys, we mis you!! Looks like you are having the best time...and we're getting an education here.
By the way steph, those bags are very inticing...anymore left? Karen
agh!! Pocketbooks! OK, the pocketbook queen is now officially jealous. Amazing sights, fabulous food, whatever... but did you see all those pocketbooks!?! Have fun, love you, Meg
GUCCI Are those Gucci bags I see? Steph, you are sitting in my favorite...ok, now I'm jealous. Love ya guys, good to hear you both are having fun. Kate
WOWWWWWWWW Steph and Jay: How will you guys ever return to "normal" life after this once-in-a-lifetime experience???? Lucky you...continue to have fun and stay safe. Hugs, Mrs. Sullo
I can't believe this!!! This trip is utterly amazing. Each time I go into a blog, I can't believe what I'm seeing and reading. You guys must be having the time of your life. I loved the photo of Jay drinking out of a paper bag. I'd make some comments, but these comments are shared by too many!!!!! Enjoy Hong Kong and be safe. Love you both, and can't wait for the next chapter. Go
What is not to like!!!!!!!! The pictures of the islands are amazing. If the boat was a cruise ship I would like to go to those islands. You are right I would have had a panic attack in the room. Love you and miss you!!!

Still jealous! Wow, I think I'm with sej on quitting my job and becoming the 4th wheel! Surfing sounds/looks like so much fun. Far better than my group tennis lesson in the gym of hunter college! I would never scuba dive. Definitely not my thing! Would freak! For some reason, I don't believe your apprehensiveness at Nimbin. Hee hee..joking of course. Have fun!!
We have decided to hang up our calculators for a few months and do something we've always dreamed of. We both have a passion for travelling and are looking forward to taking it to a whole new level!... full info
