Auschwitz Katie, I understood exactly what you said about this place--when I saw the first photo, I got shivers. And Jason, how did you like making a snowball and who did you throw it at. Keep the writings and photos coming, they're great
Love, Donny
Living the Dream I miss you both incredibly much. Wish I were there with you sharing the experiences so beautifully expressed. A big hug to both of you with a little weepy sniffle (a small bust) as I read and re-read your updates for the first time. Keep up with all the fun and happiness - it will carry you for your whole lives. Here's a toast to living the dream. ( I am twirling a napkin as I write). Love you both. Mommy
Travel Writer! You've found your niche! Hey, Kate I'm full, drunk, exhilarated, awed, humbled, and proud (of you)! Know what ya mean by those "Cup runneth over" moments. . . What's next? Your readers can't wait! Bring on the pictures!
Love,
Merry
Holy Moley That was a great story! I pictured everything so clearly, and smiled broadly the whole time!
If you still think that Dublin is a remote possibility, we will be there for most (but not all) of the 6-8th of July. You can contact me by calling Alison's cell (just like you would call an American phone number) at 352-514-4265, if you think y'all can make it. Only call to affirm (not just to catch up) because it costs her $1/minute.
I'm so happy for you both, and will continue to send my prayers in your direction...
You're stories are awesome! Wow, Kate! I can't remember reading a more enjoyable dissertation. I ran the gamut of emotions with you, as you climbed mountains and sank back into our terrible history. The people and places you've colored for us makes it all seem like I'm watching a movie. Stay in touch and keep bringing us along for this incredible ride.
Tony
Just to let you know....we can all see the last time you got on....which was June 27th---but I don't see a new journal entry from that date, Missy. We are eagerly awaiting the next installment in the European summer series....like housewives await the next episode of The Young and the Restless.....or dogs await falling scraps from the dinner table.....
Everythings ok here Glad to hear that you got off okay and the girls at my office await every blog to see what you've seen and where you've been. Jason, don't forget to take pictures of the stoops in Europe as I'm sure there must be some very interesting one. Think of you often and look forward to the next blog. Love, Donny and PaPa
Hello from Kent Hey new family member, glad to hear you are both having a good time, looking forward to meeting you both in RTW(thats Royal Tunbridge Wells) I am sure you will love being with lots of young teenagers getting you up early and keeping you up late.
see you soon
Love Mary
hi. Okay, I have added your site to my "favorites" link, and will now be reliably psycho and check for new entries everyday (heavy breathing...) I was getting very annoyed that I couldn't figure out how to view the 4 other comments that have been posted, but then I realized you haven't checked them yet (they "await review")--therefore they haven't been posted to the main site....Okay--a couple of things--did you get that crazy "bug in the british woman's head" video clip that I sent you? Secondly, here is something very cute to think about---I am re-taking the one portion of my dance exam in October in Toronto (hopefully if all goes well....), and the baby (now known as "Cubby" around here), is coming with of course, and we have to get it a passport as soon as it's born. How cute is that---a picture of a tiny little newborn blob on a passport photo??!!?! It's cuter than a hamster in a Barbie convertible, dammit! I keep thinking of a scenario where the customs people keep checking the passport and looking at the baby, and getting very suspicious like it's trying to illegally cross the border.....or when they go to take the picture of Cub, she/he is squinting and making a "poop" face and inadvertantly waving it's little fist at the camera--and that will be the picture on its passport for the next 8 years. Don't spend all ya money on little trinkets, dearie.... LOVE YOU AND HOPE YOU'RE HAVING FUN.
Happy Honeymooners Say Hello Have fun you crazy kids! We are not at all jealous of the high life. Packed in with sweaty kids and screaming babies was soooo much fun! We highly recommend Air Lingus if you have a long neck to watch the mid cabin TV, are teetotal as all alcoholic beverages cost a bomb and don't require any customer care at all.
We can't wait to catch up with you both in person after you have visited Poland who are struggling throught the world cup. We know the USA don't care... but 3-0 that's awful!
See you soon,
Mr and Mrs Forrester
HAVE FUN! BE SAFE! I wish you two the best of luck along with wishes of safety and lots of fun! you're so lucky. i am an old married lady, and haven't been out of the country (well besides the stupid bahamas)! talk to you soon! xoxo.
This is such fun ---I'll be following my favorite Kate girl! I'm not going to delete a thing silly girl - I'm going to follow you guys with envy! It is going to be so wonderful--have fun and don't drink too much! I hope you find your way back to my house when you return. Kate I'll make your favorite little hot dogs!
Jason and Kate are recent graduates of the University of South Florida in St. Petersburg, Florida. Before life gets too serious, and while there are no bills, mortgages or babies, we've decided to go for a five-month adventure across the UK and Europe. There are no wedding rings on any fingers, but maybe this trip will be a good indication if there ever will be!... full info
