It would be nice to have a map of your travels with a flashing light showing your progress like on long haul!!!!!! I keep having to get out my huge 2005 Times map of the World to follow your progress........still sounds like fun XXXX
Keep forgetting to take one although it has stayed in the underground garage for most of LA as the roads are a nightmare to drive on...also been laid up with man flu....will have it out for the trip to San Diego tomorrow!
Dodgy leg of the trip!!!!! Hi there, interesting bit of the trip, have to say I'm glad I was not with you on that journey what with the narrow roads, steep climbs, mossies and non bear proof loos and showers, that really is adventuring. Not quite the same as camping in France......

We are two seasoned travellers, used to home comforts and simple itineraries usually organised by a travel agent to include only 'nice' hotels and beaches but that all changed in 2012 when we embarked on our first 4 week, self organised, US road trip using RV and car across California...The first blog was an 'on the road' experiment so apologies for poor spelling, grammar etc and possible boredom?...
