Surprise...I was at the airport! I am so glad you are safe and sound in the USA! Looking forward to hearing about all of your adventures in Japan with the family here at the beach. Love you and get some sleep!
Awesome pics, dude! Hey there, Johnny! Its me Sean...remember me? I'm that kid thats always hanging out with Brent at summer day camp. :P I just wanted to say that your blog was really entertaining to read and your pics...UNBELIEVABLE! You are one awesome photographer, man...those Fuji pics are way off the hook! I wish I coulda been there at the top to take pictures, too. I always wanted to do something like that. Well, you keep rockin' in Japan and I'll see you around at camp, aight?

trip I made it home safe....and I want to thank you and brent and gordon for opening your chateau and treating me to a adventure of a lifetime. Get home safe...everyone.
The mad skills continue... Johnny - What can I say? The blog continues to provide a much needed reprieve from my Michigan hiatus and I look forward to hearing of your new adventures. I must agree with your sister...when are you going to write a book? Crazy skills. But more importantly, your pictures of Fuji are sick. I cannot imagine the peace you must of felt reaching the summit with your closest friends and witnessing that sunrise. I'm super impressed with your ability to make the most of the experience. Keep the good times rolling and as always be safe.
Dizzy wizzy Being part of this experience and part of the pics is an honor with these boys. If I am to be the "Fool to climb Fuji Twice", it might as well be with my brothers! Truly awesome experience, enjoying it even more now that I can feel my toes, I can breath, I am clean, and aren't seeing tracers of light with altitude playing tricks on me. Talk about an effort with a beautiful payoff in the sunrise and acomplishment! Much love to all. Oh, and shabu shabu was the closest I could get to feeling like I was at all you can eat Phillips Seafood, bringing me a little closer to home and nausea. :-)
Sweet! Johnny! Your blogs are the best and one day, you should write that book!! I love every photo you have taken... capturing every moment and when you open your photo album months or even years from now, you will be taken right back to those times. Continue to have an incredible time as your days wind down. I am looking forward to seeing you soon! :)

I'm at Grammy and Dziadzi's house Hi Uncle Johnny!
I miss you! I like your pictures. You have a big tongue. When are you coming home? I want you to take me swimming in the ocean! I eat a new food now, crabs at Phillips!
I love you and miss you....Sarah
Great Pictures! Johnny, the mountain pictures were unbelievable! I am so proud of you and your friends for climbing the whole mountain together. What a great memory you all will have forever. You should get a headband like Chris is wearing so that I can see your eyes in the pictures. Christine thinks that you will need an extra suitcase in order to bring back all your tshirts. Love you and miss you!
I'm Truly Amazed!! John,
I read your blogs and I just shake my head wondering how you and your buds can squeeze so much into a 24 hour day. It must be the stamina of youth with a touch of craziness thrown in. Your descriptions and accounts of your journeys are really wonderful and when I look at the pictures, I can almost put myself there looking through your eyes. The journey up and down Fuji sounds like it touched your spirit and left an indelible mark on it. Very few people get the chances your and your friends have had and it is heart warming to see you all taking full advantage of them. I'm glad Chris was able to join you and share those experiences with you. There certainly will be enough to keep you in conversations and stories for a long long time. Sarah got a real kick talking to you but couldn't grasp that you were far far away. She has been an absolutely gem and I will really miss her when she leaves. Continue to enjoy. I miss you and look forward to seeing you soon.
Much Love Always,
Dad

Hi Johnny! All I can say is wow! This is my first time reading your blog. It sounds like you are having an amazing experience. I agree with everyone else.. I am jealous. Mom has been keeping me up to date but I had to read it all for myself. The pictures are great. I will be checking in for updates. Keep having fun and be safe!
Frogs Hi Uncle Johnny! I bet you are having fun in Japan with your new friends. I love you so much. :) I am almost swimming! I saw 5 frogs in Grandad's pool. I touched them. Stephen and Ashley touched them too, but then they threw them into the bushes! Poor frogs. I like your pictures. Bye bye. Love Sarah
Hi! This blog with your school students is wonderful! I love all the children's smiles. It seems to me that you are very happy there. I liked the picture without your hat on. Your journal blog is awesome and the many comments from your friends shows me that we all care about you and miss you too. I always said you had great group of friends. Love you and miss you!

I went to the adirondack last week and was in awl of the beauty and surrounding~yall have the biggest treat of the all. Be safe and be good and have the best time! ps~i got a job!
Wonderful Update Hi Son,
Just got done reading your latest blog and it really impressed me. The little ones are so cute and look like they have enough energy to propel the space shuttle. It is obvious that they are having a blast and enjoying themselves. Great Job!! When you get back, you should make an album and show it to your kids and note the striking differences between the Japanese children and your darlings. Please get a few pictures of the sunrise on Mt. Fuji for me because I would really love to see them. All is well at home. Sarah is coming down on Friday for another "Sleep Over" and I can't wait. I'm going to introduce her to the library and the wonders of the children's section.
Much Love Always,
Dad
