Hello Hi Sue Richard et al
Finally I have had a chance to read about all about the adventure you have been having - wowee - can't wait to see the photos
Lots love Deb
no hippo After reading your entry, I had all but forgotten about the hippo by the end. The lodge sounds an impressive place. Still no pictures? that's a shame. I guess this will just about your last entry, Oh well, nothing lasts forever. Love Dave.
That's an impossible act to follow !!!! Hi everyone
I have just re read all your blogs - more engrossing than a John Grisham novel.
So kids there's no way I can take you anywhere that I can think of to even remotely challenge the adventures you have had over the past couple of months. How about a pony ride???? But then I guess that doesn't rate with a crocodile ride.
Susie you have made Ghana come alive for me (never even knew exactly where it was!). There are so many emotions I have felt when reading your blogs. Sadness, happiness, pride, frustration, hope, anger, even envy. But what made the deepest impression on me was that little kids suffer and die needlessly because of a lack of basic needs. I will do more - the World should.
Love you all, your little ole Daddy and Papa.
what a great time Have enjoyed reading all your blogs and you appeared to have enjoyed your trip albeit hard work at times! soon you all will be leaving for Austrailia and new things again. We have all missed you in Somerfield but life goes on! All the very best to you Richard, Sue, Huw, Ian and Sian ans best of luck for the future.
Lots of love
Fiona

Hello To Richard, Sue, Marc, Huw and Sian,
Reading your stories from the good to the harsh is a humbling experience, but also uplifting to the sole. I've tried to send an email to your blog account but it was returned 'no reply', so hopefully this will reach you.
Anyway, I just want to write that you are all in my thoughts and I look forward to reading more from you all in the near future. Good luck in the remaining months and I hope to hear from you in the new year or before.
Best wishes
Peter

Safe and Sound in Cardiff Hia Guys,
Just wanted to let you know that i'm safe and sound at home in Wales. Slight delay arriving in Heathrow but overall a very good flight.
I can't believe that 48 hours ago I was with you in Ghana!! It was an amazing experience, i have so many memories to treasure.
Everyone's shocked by the hair!! Rhys really likes it and Mam's on her way down to Cardiff at the moment because i haven't got much in the house, so we'll see what she thinks!! So A.Sue it was worth the bike ride in the dark!! Thankyou.
I hope the swimming with the children's home children was good. Must have been nice to have a swim!!!
Don't work too hard this week,
Miss you all like crazy,
Love,

Enjoy the adventure Glad to hear that you are all OK and enjoying yourselves. It sounds almost civilised! I think at the back of my mind I wondered if you would be fetching your running water from the village well! I think you are all very adventurous doing this and hope that you have a fabulous time. look forward to keeping track of your time there. You never know Sue, I may see you sooner than you think - in Australia!
Jealous Dear all
Here I am sitting at my desk on a grey and windy September day reading your account of your first sights of Africa, thinking of you all and imagining how breath-taking it is.
Summerfield is fine and in good heart thanks to the two wonderful house parents before us. You are missed enormously (by me!) and sitting in the garden, I think you will appear at any time with cranberry juice and tonic!
George has been so proud to show her friends Sian's bed and the tree house that Marc and Huw built (according to her!). Marmite is also enjoying life as he has visited Ask Pizza's and the Castle and Ball on his own on more than one occasion!!
The builders have nearly finished the bathroom and I will send you piccies when I get around to finding the charger in the number of boxes we still have to unpack.
Emma, the Nanny, has started and is fantastic. Jonty is in good heart and has many admirers from the new girls (who are stunning!). Would love to talk to you in more detail: can we use your hotmail address?
Bill is fine and enjoying cooked breakfasts!
Big hugs to you all and I look forward to the first pictures.
All my love Sherylx
How are things? I have just had to e-mail Mtr. Nicholas to ask for a priv. for Toby, and that prompted me to look at your blog. I hope the journey and all went well, and you have settled in to Tamale. I will keep looking to see if you have written anything up. Good luck with it all.
Toby reports that all is well, and that Mr. Nicholas is doing OK, though being rather tougher than JP!!!
Love to all from Andrew and I - Lucy
