Sounds like a dangerous combination Chocolate, Beer, and Fries? Not all at the same time I hope ;) It sounds like you are having a wonderful time. I'm pleased you are taking advantage of the opportunites to get out and about. That is making the most of it all. You are a good read too!
I will try to write more in an email soon. Take Care!
Viva La Belgium Loved all your descriptions; with your pictures, it's as close as you can get to being there. You had me laughing out loud with the Giles "firing oranges with a vengeance". As always looking forward to your next blog.
tasty Haha - your post takes me back to traveling around France with the TGV - I was responsible for my group almost missing a train twice because I'd start getting in a car, and it'd be the wrong one, so we'd have to run down the platform (like a 1/4 mile!) to get to the right one. There was one incident where it was almost about to leave, so we just ran into the closest one to the platform, and then ended up going through every single car until we came the second to last one (ours, naturally - why shouldn't we have to walk through 15 train cars?)
I love how you pretty much ate your way through Belgium. Reading about all that food (especially the waffles...yum!) makes me really hungry. :) I have a few things to tell you about school, but I'll send it in an email. Or if I'm really ambitious, a letter. Toodles!
Lee's Summit Greetings! I so enjoyed your "Back to France". Keep them coming. It's six degrees today so I'm staying in. Much love - I'll write more later.

Yeah Hey! I'm pretty jealous of your kebab (mmm) and your visit to the Museum of Decorative arts. And I'm really happy that you included all the details about the meals you ate. Weirdly enough, I like to hear about that kind of stuff. At least when it concerns foreign food. How's your new host family? You did switch, right? Have you been making friends with the new students despite not being at the orientation. I'm sure you'll meet some cool people. I keep forgetting how much I miss Europe until I read these updates - I could even deal with the crummy weather. Well, maybe. Anyways, I'm glad you had such a great start to the year. Dis 'coucou' a Mme Rouchet, visite le quartier Bouffay fabuleux, et aie un semestre merveilleux, mon amie. Et va en Grece!!! C'est crucial!!! Bisous
Another amazing blog Your blog on Rome, Paris, and Nantes was well worth the wait. Love hearing all the details whether it is one of the buildings, a meal or a train trip. The pictures are great. Love you.
What a trip we just had from your travelblog!! It must have been really great to have been to all those places. Really enjoyed your pictures. Thanks again for the call on Thanksgiving. Had a birthday dinner with your family on Saturday night. Missed your smilling face there. Good luck with all your tests and papers. Amour!!

Just like being there (almost) So delighted to see your latest entry. What an incredible trip! Love hearing all the details and seeing the pictures. Can't wait to hear about your "castle tour".
Hi Honeybun! Wow-awesome stuff. Well, life is pretty much the same back here. The whole fam is coming over on Sunday to celebrate Grandma's birthday, your Daddy's birthday and Kristoher's birthday. We are grilling baby back ribs and will have a few chicken breasts. I think I will go get a birthday cake at DQ just for fun. It is rainy today and Brian didn't work so he spent the day looking for an apartment in L.S. Kris has gotten another call on a good job. He seems focused on finishing his degree but sometimes money talks. We haven't heard much from Cara lately. She is busy working. Grandma and I are going to Nashville with the First Cousins Club (10 of us this time) for a wild weekend. Of course we will be seeing the Grand Ole Opry and taking a riverboat cruise. We are leaving 10/20. The dress code theme is denim and diamonds(or sparklie stuff). I love the pics and it is good to see your face. I have already decided Dennis is getting me a digital camera for Christmas so I can move into the 21st century with respect to photography. I need to go. I love you! byby
Message from home Love your blog and all your pictures. It gives us such a good idea of what your life is like. So happy you're taking advantage of seeing the sites. Especially liked the pictures of the Brittanies. Can't wait for the next addition.
Coucou! Oh, de Pous-ter. Give her my love...you might get a scowl in return. ;) I'm sure you'll get a lot out of Traduction. Even though I never felt like I was improving, it was a great way to learn French idioms. What are the other American students like? Are there any guys? (There were 60 girls and 13 guys in our group...poor men) Summer and I keep wondering if you'll come back with a nice French boy. We'd be sad to lose you, but we agreed that it would be pretty awesome. :D Are Jessica and Mme Rouchet still there? They're both really cool. For a while I wanted to stay like Jessica, but I don't know if I could give up living in America for that long.
Ah, the beloved TAN. It took me a few weeks to figure that stupid system out, and then it was great. I got lost several times, mostly at night, and was scared out of my mind, but I learned a lot more about the layout of the city that way.
If you're ever near the MarchePlus near the center, in the neighborhood of Rue Franklin, check out the chocolate stores around there. They're divine! We all miss you very much - I'm delighted to hear that you're already having adventures. Enjoy your first day of classes! If you need anything from the states, let me know. :)
trip Wow, Melissa! It's sounds fabulous. I'll forward this to the kids so they can read it, too. I'm so glad you are having such a great adventure.

I'm spending my Junior year of study at William Jewell College in the French city of Nantes. I will be studying French and International Relations, and living with a French family. I look forward to French bread, European chocolate, and being thoroughly confused for a few months. ... full info
