~envy~ Wow!! I can't begin to explain how envious I am of you. Maybe not about the proposal bit, but everything else sounds as if you're having the time of your life. Especially the caves, I wish I could see them with you too. Still, I remain in Cardiff and will have to wait a further 20 years before i finally can go travelling to any appreciable degree. Continue to have fun and remember your friends back home. Thoughts and prayers, Mark xxx - Mark
It's great to hear you're alright! After a worrying couple of days I guessed you were after I got back to a comp and checked your login date, but it's still good to hear from you yourself! Seems like you're having the time of your life still! How could you, while there's exams going on back here? Only kidding. Keep us posted! - Mike
Very, very glad to hear you're okay! (I'll txt lecky to tell her you updated) And glad to hear the children are okay too.
Wow! A real life Indiana Jones-style place :D Keep having fun and stay safe! - Katie

God bless us... everyone! Hey Carly! Merry Christmas! :D It's good to hear you're having fun, probably a lot more exciting there than it is here. The only white precipitation we've seen is hail stones but it matters not. Lots of love - Katie XXX - Katie
Away! Away I say! It's about time I left my mark here again. Well... I don't envy your Junior minding duties but... wow! I'd forgotten you were leaving the place when Christmas came around! So it's off adventuring finally! But either way... I'm rambling when I don't have anything interesting to say. So I'll stop now. Have fun doing what I'd chicken out of if I got the chance. Merry Christmas! And Happy New Year... and Epiphany if you don't get to a net-worthy PC before then. - Mike - Mike

The people in college that I've met so far don't seem to be hugely interesting but they're okay. I havne't been in any fights if that's what you mean...
Woah, Carly the teacher... makes an intersting mental image. Hope the kids are behaving for you :D
Ha! T'was me indeed! You're right about who wrote that anonymous comment Carly. Poonam I'm guessing just read my name from your comment so gets no credit for knowing anything. And Caryl... how could you not have known about this? This adventure has been about three years in the making.
Right. Now to address the person I should be addressing:
Mahablipuram? Funny name for a place. But I've searched for pics of the place and the architecture and rock carvings aren't that bad at all. 'Specially one with Elephants and lots of little people. I almost certainly wouldn't travel all that way just to look at that but I think you're pretty lucky getting to see all this - the rocks and sinking statues- all the same - except for the temple. I can't believe a temple is worth walking barefoot up 600 steps for if you're not part of it's religion. But perhaps you can convince me otherwise. - Mike
Lucky you I'm getting so very jeaous when reading your entries.I had no idea that this was what you were doing with yourself until Miss Finch told me. I think its a wonderful thing that you're doing and you'll get loads of fulfillment out of it.Just make sure you keep on enjoying it as much as you have been. Good luck and take care of yourself.
Love Caryl
hey hey carly sorry for the late reply.nice to know uve settled in well etc..
ill write soon
love anjali;-) ps we all know who the other person that commented was ....
Ha! Found you! Now don't make me Google you again!
Is the weather good out there? No? Aww... ah well. Well, it's good that your last week has been interesting, because my freshers week has been quite substantially boring. And problematic. Such is life. I hope at least that you don't come home wanting to kill small children with your bare teeth, because that would not be a very good effect of this trip. Anyway, have fun!
Hello!!! This is the diary of my gap year to India and beyond. Where I'll be volunteering in an orphanage, riding elephants and meeting as many different people as possible. I should be able to write in here every week or so and hopefully I'll be able to get some photos on here too. ... full info
