Those left behind and living vacariously
I saw Jill today and she said you were suffering from a full blown cold?? Your adventurous spirit and confidence never ceases to amaze and my admiration is boundless. You are ever in our thoughts and prayers and I loved your strory so far. Please have some tapas for me . They are superb eating. Met a lady today who is creating a visual story of different cultures coming to Aussie. She has and will be taking more photos of our people. So we will be in the annuls of history isn't that great. My Spanish teacher used to come everyday to my homestay to give me lessons. Her name is Camucha and she is a very kind, patient and very good teacher. Fair Play language school
I am trying to find contact info for Fair Play Language School. Your mention of it was the only thing I could find on the internet. Do you by any chance have contact info for them? I've enjoyed reading some of your entries. I am 50 something and just starting out traveling myself. Thanks

was so glad to open your blog and find added entries(I check daily).I am green to think you saw the Gaudi buildings...I remember the south american man from the slums that was building his own home similiarly,with no knowledge of who Gaudi was-you and I discussed it-that was in the days when I could sit over coffee with you,instead of reaching for the laptop to hear your voice!Of course, thinking of you for you(tinged with sadness that I am not able to share it with yoflying along in that luxurious train,with a glass of sherry made me happy u...this time.keep posting this site-it's the highlight of my day. all love to ibu.

So many years ago (when I was 14) I became strongly drawn to visit Spain, Latin America and in particular - Machu Picchu, the Lost City of the Incas. In my middle years, I spent many years studying the Spanish Language and tackling the dreaded 'SER' and 'ESTAR'! - just in case I should 'live the dream' one day. They say 'patience is a virtue' and it surely must be. Here am I in my golden years, setting off with 'me, myself and I' on a 6 months odyssey to follow my dreams.
