As someone who grew up in central Indiana, I was surrounded by flat lands and cornfields. I was introduced to the Colorado mountains and Grand Canyon during a 2 week hiking trip after high school, and I was amazed by the beauty outside of IN. A year later, I left the continent for the first time and spent 10 days in India as part of a business class. My wanderlust truly started after that trip, and I have left the continent every year since, going on 8 years now. Now I want to share what I have learned by stepping outside my comfort zone and falling in wanderlust.
