Salam Arshad Ror, I just ran across your blog and Masha Allah it amazed to the extent that i could't spear myself from messaging you. Dir Kohistan in particular and KP in general has always been my dream as an Adventure Destination. But due to unfortunate reasons and despite having countless destinations, we haven't been able to brand ourselves in this regard.
I am still committed to my vision and working in my capacity to brand KP as adventure destination. Looking at your achievements, i believe, you must also have some soft spot for your mother land.
I am from Charsadda, based in Peshawar and currently working on Rebranding of KP particularly in Adventure tourism. I would like to see you in person to have some mountain talk. If you are interested, do revert back on 03339189168 or ezazahmedkhan@gmail.com.
Looking forward
Concordia de Hindukush Excellent travelogue, a well balanced tale which reminded each and every scene of the rough and tough expedition. . . well done Arshad, we will plan together some new expedition to some new destination in future I.A. your this blog remind me a couplet from the Shakerpear's sonnet, which I'd like to share here:
"So long as men can breathe, or eyes can see,
So long lives this, and this gives life to thee."
That is how long this BLOG will live, the lines will give life to our expedition, with the passage of time when we go through this, the memory become refresh and we will remind the days when we had made such journey, gathering and shared the happy moments, and explored the natures' beauty in the concordia de Hindukush. . . God Bless you today and always.
Thanks Rashidul Ghafoor Yeah, we had memorable time in that awesome part of the world. Enjoyed our adventure, explore the hidden beauty and moreover, hunted game birds. It was a good team work and planning that we made it to Babu Camp and back to Shagram in just four days unlike the standard itineraries of a week or more. Hope in future we will discover more remote parts of Chitral to quench of our thirst of adventure! Karambar Lake and Boroghil may be the next destinations to be toured very soon Insha Allah.
WELDONE i read detailed account of ur journey. It was wonderful. I was feeling like being with u during the journey while reading the details of journey. I feel sorry for ur injury and for ur lost cellphone which had precious pix of the trip. May u find it soon. You have done great job and documented it very well. Thanks Shaukat bro Thank you for your comment and taking interest in our adventure. It was a memorable adventure despite the fact that I lost my cellphone which had pictures of the whole trek. I hope I will get my cellphone! I had painful groin injury but it couldn't hold me back from making it to the heart of Hindu Kush.
I, a restless soul, love trekking, climbing, travelling and backpacking. Here on this page, I share the adventures and treks I've undertaken over the past few years. ... full info
