cool heels Hi Ian: I haven't checked this blog in quite a while. nice to see you. my email is: higmex@yahoo.com if you're on Facebook we could perhaps communicate there. Crazy the paths we follow in life, eh?

Not sure how this blog thing works. Just got back from a high school reunion in Deux Montagnes. Not much has changed in the old neighborhood, but many changes in St. Eustache and north of town around the mall. Cherie and I are still here in Hastings, but have a home in Arizona (Payson). Oldest son (Ben) is a zoo keeper in Albany, Georgia and our youngest son (David) is a federal agent in Denver, Colorado. We will probably work a couple of more years before we sell our house here and move to Arizona. You are looking good on Mount Sir Donald, look like you are ready to carry the ball again. E-mail me and send me your e-mail address. Keep well.
WOW! Dear Brian:
I can't believe what I'm seeing. How did you ever get up the nerve to try hang-gliding? It surely looks like a lot of fun, but just don't ask me to tr y it. I have tohave my feet planted firmly on the earth, except when I'm flying to Florida or some other interesting place.
Good for you! Add all the adventure to your life you can handle. You'll have lots of time to be old!
Love,
Kay

Football as diplomacy ITs true....... we do have a North American conference for football watching. However, you will note in the photo, that alcoholic beverages were consumed as both an inducement for watching, and as a sedative. Brian is an excellent Host, even tho we are delighted when he dons a jacket to cover up the "Allouttes" shirt. Really, sounds like a chorus line of larks......
Beautiful! Dear Brian:
Thanks for your recent message. The pictures are great. I can see why you love the mountains so much. This is a lovely to keep in touch.
Please note my new email address. I signed up for High Speed with Aliant and will close off the AOL connection at the end of this month.
Did you receive your tee shirts O.K.?
It was great to have you at the Reunion.
Love, Kay
you are looking good Hey Brian, I don't get the blog thing yet but you are looking good up on the mountain. I imagine you are getting in shape again. Can't wait to see you. We are stuck in Denver for a few more days until the title comes for the car on Tuesday. See you soon.
smaller mountains Alan and I just returned from checking out a cool town along the front range of the lwer continental rockies: Lyons, Colorado. Its described as "a poor man's Santa Fe" and also as a cross between Northern Exposure's Cecily Alaska and Andy Griffiths Mayberry. Our explorations show it to be a liberal town with more serious bike riders than Suburu Outbacks. Also famous for blues performers. Nice mix. Cruised the entire town and found one cool location where we could build and grow food. After we sell something in Mex. Big hugs, and hellos to all. Miss you guys.....
Hi Dale! Thanks for your note. Hey, can you imagine my copy of "Somewhere In Between" is beside me? it's awesome and inspires me further. come down to Sayulita this winter? best, B.
