Even more fantastic (big) photos I wonder how many other people did not realise that you could double click on your photos to see bigger and better versions.
So what happens to this journal now? The rest of the family seem to have been watching but I have only just caught up. What an amazing range of experiences! It has been fascinating to be able to follow your expedition but I am very glad that I was not there. Have you returned safely?
It's the travelling and not the destination Hi, sounds like you will never be the same again......your travels sound exciting and full of incidents. Sharing these adventures by reading your posts is special. Keep safe K+
your awe inspiring trip Great to see all the pics and to read the blog too, keep up the good work. Cannot wait to hear the remainder of the trip. keep on enjoying every moment.
lots of love fiona and colin x
Iguazu Falls The falls and wildlife look magnificent.
Some great pictures for my class Rainforest topic after half term!
Lovely to hear about the sun and the heat as we shiver in February frosts.
Spectacular from the sky! The Iguazu falls look amazing, even on the photos. Now you should come to Africa and compare it with the awe-inspiring Victoria falls. Love the close-up shots of the spider web, lizard and the creepy caiman. When you get a chance, check your messages, Mum sent you a text. x
Charming Chile Glad you made it to Chile and had some Chilean wine. 50p for that amount of wood is a real bargain. Katy, looks like your Afrikaans is really coming along nicely :) Nice haircut, Henry.
hey, look at your sis managing to work a computer! am at work so not sure if this will work... everyone has seen you shiny and drunk as per usual hogarth- smith.... looks fab there, need to do a proper long read when i'm not supposed to be working. lots and lots of love xxxxxxxx
Sunshine It's sunny in Warrington too you know, not hot exactly but the bulbs think that it is spring! Good to hear that you are absorbing the culture and have avoided any more mishaps.
Not like the Sandboarding In Vietnam!! This looks like proper sandboarding. Do you remember the wooden trays we used in Vietnam!!
Looks like you are having a great time
Dx
Glad you're having a great time. Keeping a close eye on your progress. Not much to report back here in London other than it's freaking cold. Look after yourselves. N
Mudlarks The adventures are becoming gripping stuff - mainly grip the bus with white knuckles from the sound of it. Terrifying stuff and exciting at the same time. What beautiful spots you are visiting and what great photos you will have to remind you. How dull life seems here for some of us although Steph says her life is not as dull as Tony's.
Keep up the tales of derring-do and adventure. Did you know they are remaking Indiana Jones - you should be on for a part.
Hugs and kisses XX
WOW! Guys, very jealous of the travelling. Photos are stunning, seems like you are really, really, really enjoying it! The blog is ace. Just a quick weather update from Manchester - its raining. So hope that it remains as exciting (if not more so) than it has been for you so far. Loads of love.
I had already tried cuy....although it was quartered and without its head! Didnt like it enough to have it again! Not sure what they do to stop teh kids falling in - I guess they just have to learn from experience!! K xx
Guinea Pig! Wow! News coming thick and fast! No cuy for you then Kate!
We thought the costumes looked great - not sure about H's hat mind.
The reed islands look fascinating -how do they stop the children from falling in the water?
Look forward to the next instalment.
