Hello to our lovely Wales family. The Courtyard family ( Pujan and I, as well as Kim and several of the guests whom I have also shared your blog with) have all been following your adventures through Singapore, Bali and New Zealand. Congrats, Hannah on your snorkeling outing. Way to go, Oliver on learning to swim!We also really love the photos of all of you encircled by gorillas- Too cute!!!
We also can't thank you enough for the kind words you had to say about us and the Courtyard on the Tripadvisor site. It is absolutely our pleasure to host such incredible families as yours. Kudos to
you, Ian and Helen, for exposing your children to the world at a young age. There should be more parents like you!
Time flies! Hannah and Ollie, I can't believe you are already in New Zealand and it is so long since we commented, but we have been following your travels and adventures. What a fantastic time you are all having and just when I think it can't get any better you send something even more exciting. Thank you so much for the postcards - 5 to date (no one is to get jealous if they aren't getting postcards too, it's a private deal as Jamie doesn't do the computer!). Looking forward to the next instalment and tell Dad we haven;'t been rowing yet but the weather is getting better and we hope to go down the estuary at the weekend. Lots of love to Mum and see you all soon. Take care and keep safe.

Long live Bali! Hello from the notrth of Myanmar where we're slowly but surely falling in love with the country. It's soooooooo behind in so many ways and yet has so much to teach us all. The people are lovely, the temples are breathtaking and the exotic air penetrates every and any pore! That said, i'm more interested in you at the moment. How did it all go in Ubud? We fell in love with the area but mind you we were last there 10 years ago so i'm guessing much has changed, still, i'm betting the views are much better than those in Nusa Dua, Kuta and Sanur. Have you been up to Lovina to see the dolphins? (Why would you after swimming with the sharks?!?!) well I must say you've inspired us to get some beach time into our holiday so we've booked Langkawi in Malaysia for a week. Let's see how that goes. Please send warm regards to the whole family and keep posting... It's so nice to be able to picture you and all your adventures! I'm posting some of our pics but they're on facebook. If any of you have an account, get in touch. My username is Alec Von Bargen. Anyway, keep enjoying and keep sharing. xoxoxoxo
Snorkelling in Bali Hi Hannah and Oliver, the snorkelling and turtle farm in Bali looks amazing and I am jealous of mum and dad seeing a whale shark. That is definately something I have wanted to do in Exmouth in WA and haven't done yet. Looks like Steve and I will definately have to return to Bali. Can't wait to see your next blog. Love Steve and Marise, Perth W.A. xxxx

Well done Oliver! Well done Oliver really good swimming, can you teach Cerys to swim in a few years time.
Bali looks amazing your trip seems to be getting better and better, can't wait for your next entry. Big hugs love Sarah, Dan and Cerys.
Not bad!!! Looks like you have settled into Bali quite nicely. Brilliant pool and it seems Oliver is taking to swimming quite well. I hope you read this before leaving Bali as I wanted to highly recommend you travel up to the northern rice fields in Bali and visit a small town called Ubud. It's a small artists village and has the coolest shops and cafes. Also, it's home to the 'Monkey forest' which i'm certain you'd love... just careful with what you carry as the monkeys will shoot out of the trees and pull at anything you have in your hands. I hope you continue to enjoy and thanks for the update. Please say hello to your parents and to Oliver. Luca also says hi! Talk to you soon. Erik xoxoxo

The highs and lows of being on the road... Hello dearest Hannah and hello to the entire family. As you probably sit somewhere wonderfully exotic, Luca and I have been stuck in a transit lounge at the Delhi airport for about 2 hours, with another 7 hours to go... yes, I said 7!!! It's an absolute nightmare! We did however discover that if you pay the security agent 20 dollars he allows you to go upstairs to "enjoy" full access of the Jet Airways VIP lounge... stale crisps, mouldy sanwiches, flat diet coke, slow internet and all. I know it's not ethically correct but it was either pay-up, or sit in a corner for the next 420 minutes or so. We were weak and paid. (Never do so yourself!!!) The money was well worth it as now I can sit here and write to you!!! We were terribly upset that we didn't get the chance to say goodbye in person. We awoke feeling terrible, our stomachs churning from what I believe was too many Indian chicken tikkas with garlic naan... I know, it doesn't sound nice. To make matters worse, we received a phonecall the same night, 12 hours before boarding our flight, letting us know that the Chinese government had blocked our entry into Tibet. It was terrible! We are still extremely sad but we're strong and have already made alternate plans. We're on our way to Myanmar... and then... well, we'll see! Anyway, as I said, we hated not being able to say goodbye and wanted to let you all know just how much we enjoyed meeting you... even if it was for such a short time. You seem like the lovliest of families and are more than welcome always to come and visit us in Mexico whenever you like. Please tell Mum and Dad, and Oliver that we say hi and that they should get in touch sometime, and as for you, thanks for the wonderful show you gave us all the night before you left and please do continue cheering us up with the amazing adventures and photos of your trip. Warm regards and please be safe,
Erik and Luca
