I know! Why does everyone think I'm from Vancouver?! Sorry..I'm on the opposite coast.
Also..an Australian asked me if it's true Canada has a lot of pot.
And..that was followed by an American saying ''i know pot's legal in Canada, right?'' Um..no.
Two months already Hey Shannon,
You have been gone for more than two months already. Hardly seems possible. Enjoy reading your blog so keep posting things on it. Things here are busy as usual. Take care sunshine!
Soccer (football) HAHA you're little story at the end reminded me of when I was at the montreal arport and me and thomas decided to go to a restaurant. ANYWAY! this was during the world cup and a game with germany was hapening later that day. The Chef in the restaurant was german and throughout our entire meal you could hear him Chanting "GERMANY!" in the background.
Hello! Your mom shared your blog address with Joann"a" and I the other night and I've read through all your entries and between laughing, crying, being amazed and impressed, I think overall I'm just plain envious of this wonderful experience you're immersed in (right from the food to the German stare downs!). The pictures are awesome and if you don't go into archaeology you should consider journalism!!
Oh my Hahahah, A note on the stare down, depending on the length that you are being stared down, you will probably figure out months later that you did something that is hideously socially inappropriate.. but dont worry, no one will ever EVER tell you what. And also, NEVER stop the stare down, even if the person is extremely uncomfortable. And also you have obviously not yet met the scarily extreme germans who never eat anything that isn't measured out.
Good luck with your german class, it'll all come eventually regardless of how much you nod off in class, as trying to constantly pay attention in a foreign language (never mind the class, just day to day life) can be exhausting!
Veille Gruesse!

Hey! Wow! Sounds like you're having quite a blast, I just saw you update your facebook status with the link to this, so I thought I'd check out what you're up to!
Sounds like a blast, just wait till Octoberfest, I'm sure it'll get a bit crazier around then, I hear some of the festivities are..."off the hook" so to say.
Anyway, I'm going to add you to msn so I can ask you tons of questions. I'd like to do one of the exchanges one day and I need some tips :]
Later!
~Jess
Big changes, little changes... Hey shannon,
Your mum gave us the link to your blog so hope you don't mind us posting even though we are "old"! It is interesting to hear about your travels so far!
Keigan is going through some changes too - she is starting Kindergarten tomorrow. We will be sure to tell her that Shannon is in a new school but far away so she should be thankful that her school is just down the road - and in English - at least for this year ;)
Marla, Mich and Keigan
Cool Blog Great blog Shannon. Sounds like you arent too overwhelmed but keep doing different stuff and try to remember how novel everything was when you got off the plane cuz pretty soon it'll seem normal and you'll take it for granted, which you probably can't even imagine right now.
keep keeping us updated! later skater.
jess.
