Trip
Will miss your blogs. Sad to see Lorraine getting caught at the end of the trip. Liked the 'no ice cream' and 'ice cream' shots. We are in Provence for 3 weeks; Plenty to see and do. Grant and Jo

Travel Blogs
Have enjoyed your blogs and look forward to seeing a selection of the 4000 photos you have taken. Ted also loves pressing the button on his camera, I have evidence to prove it. He took 700 pics of the Kimberley Region in July. We are off tomorrow 22ndSept in our van for 2.5 weeks touring NSW. Should be good as the countryside is very green after good rain recently. Safe travelling home. Regards Ted and Heather

Don't come home!
You have given us so much pleasure reading your blog - we really don't want your holiday to end! Photos, as usual, L have been amazing! Hope the blisters are a little better - would ice cream help them?

Stunning places!
These are your most stunning photos to date; some beautiful spots. We'll have to visit them ourselves now! Funny and interesting as always, nice entry.

Gorgeous photos Lorraine, you will have to publish a book of 100 places to see before you die.

Lake Como and Lake Lugano
You have exhausted me reading about all the treking you are doing. What a wonderul experience seeing all these lovely places and meeting the people. The photos are great but be careful with that camera I can just picture you sneaking a photo here and there. From here on safe journey home Love Thea

exhausted
You guys can cram a lot in - I'm exhausted just reading it. The view from the cable car is great. After Lyon we are staying in Satellieu - a small village with not much to do. Went for a drive thru the countryside- saw an old Abbey then back for a rest. Regards, Grant and Jo

Armchair Traveller
I am an avid armchair traveller of your trip and love the latest photos/blog. However, the Ice Cream Virus has arrived at our place (I didn't know it could spread world wide so quickly) and Ramon and I have each just finished a decidely decadent chocolate filled ice cream Drumstick. Does Lorraine have a cure for this insidious virus? Keep well and we look forward to your next adventure.

Venice
It is a lovely city. In the 1960s I ate an icecream in St Marks square which cost me 10 shillings. At the time that was exorbitant beyond belief. I wonder at the price now. Would 5 euros = 10 shillings or have things got cheaper? I agree entirely with your editorial.

Italy
Good to see that the Ice Cream prices are falling - should save you a fortune. We just left Lyon - Capital of Roman France(Gaul). Very old and good but very busy. Heading south to Provence. Grant abd Jo

I can't believe it
I just can't believe it that Lorraine you like your photos without people in them. Phillip is constantly saying to me "We can't stand here all day waiting for randoms to move so they are not in your photo" and I say "Yes we can I hate people I don't know or love in my photos"!!!! Loved the blog and I knew Alicia would love the icecream part she shares that passion with you Dan!!!!! I now know where Nick gets his great writing skills from. Keep up the good work we are really enjoying the blogs. Think of us plebs back here in Australia at WORK!!!!! Love to you both.xxxx

Funny
We found this entry very funny, excellent work. I hope you can find time to go back and caption your photos, it may honestly be quicker to delete them all then upload the lot again in one batch with comments, or you can edit them one by one... good luck Alicia admires Dan's pursuit of ice cream cheerio

How wonderful are your photos Lorraine you have captured the essence of Norway with all its beauty and history. You and Dan are a great team. Graham and I are thoroughly enjoying reading your blog with lots of humour. We particularly enjoyed the icecream before and after photo.

great pics
I can relate to the amount of pictures. We will have a great many years of re-visiting our holidays.

I've ben told Norway is beautiful and your comments and photos confirm it. I think Norway is even more expensive than France - makes you wonder how ordinary people live. The A$ is great at the moment which takes some of the pain away. Dan you should write a book/travel guide about the best ice creams in Europe. Research and sampling would be tax deductible! We are in Chamonix - another beautiful part of the world. Took the cable car up Mt Blanc and then another to Helbronner (Italy). One of the highlights of our trip so far. Took 208 photos- would have been more except my battery ran out. Hope this finds you both fit and well, Grant and Jo
