Dive Instructor Tourists Hi Greg!
I'm enjoying reading your blog. VERY good choice to go with someone that LIVES there and is a Dive Instructor, not some party animal with your life in their hands. I have seen far too many people go with inexperienced/what I would consider DANGEROUS Instructor's and these unorganized fools ruin the dive experience for nervous beginners. Good decision in finding an expert, never go for less, esp. if you have ocean fears (they will destroy diving for you)! I was looking to continue my dive career in Honduras... very bad timing with its political state. But I would love to work and learn from someone like Hans! I'm still at the research point of my moving plan though.
Keep diving so I can see more!! :P And always be picky with your DM/Instructor's!
---a fellow diver,
Jessica
what's going on in san pedro sula today? Hi guys, this is the mom of a kid whose high school group is heading from the countryside to san pedro sula to await flights out. how is it in the city today? what's going on locally? thanks!
Hang in there Take care and hang in there. If necessary we'll send in Uncle Bill Richardson to negotiate your safe passage with the junta over rum shots.
GregFault Dude-- stop fomenting global insurrection... sheesh.
Seriously, I hope you both get home as uneventfully as possible.
Did you take the photos?
Matt
I can't dive with a mustache Okay James Joyce what the hell does this mean? "I can't dive with a mustache" Does this have something to do with Trish? Do you have any idea when you will be back in Albuquerque? Maybe I can plan a visit before the Fellowship starts. Have fun and be safe. Hi Trish!
awesome! Hey guys! I have truly enjoyed reading about your adventures! Greg, you are such a wonderful writer. Loved all the pictures as well! Especially the ones with Tric in them! ;-) Sorry just getting around to posting! Thank you again for sharing! Luv you! Aunt Tricia
Thailand produces millions of bags of all qualities and styles annually. The local police chief was impressed by not the bag you gave him but your displaying of "good heart". He, in return, offered you free lodging, meals and guiding, knowing fully well that that would cost him more than the monetary value of the bag.
ladyboys i saw a group of touring ladyboys in Brighton, England about a month ago. that seemed pretty random out here. i've enjoyed following the blog and am so glad you two enjoyed your trip. have a good time at the festival and say hi to tricia for me! -ryan
Tric you look absolutely gorgeous :)
Greg your words are nothing short of magnificent, it's a great pleasure to walk along side you on your journey.
as for that spider... i'll just shudder in silence. are you sure it's an arachnid? maybe there's a couple more legs hidden up it's ass, as i only count six.
Love and miss you all.
Finally some pictures of you two! Really expressive writing, I am enjoying reading about everything you are doing. It was nice this morning to take a little journey through the rainforest with you, feel the leaves crunch, hear the water rush by . . . then I had to go change a poopy diaper. Ah, reality! Glad you are doing so well, can't wait to hear the next bit.
oofta I only just read this blog and the fear and helplessness I felt...I can't describe it. Damnit you two, you are NOT allowed to to make me cry via blog! Come home safe please....
update from Tricia so I don't know how to get into my own travel blog without Greg's help so I'm just posting a comment. Greg now has the stomach bug and is upstairs sleeping it off, luckily he was able to keep down the meds I gave him which will hopefully stop both ends and put him to sleep so he won't even remember being sick!!! so You probably won't hear from us for the next 2 days. We are doing fine though... well I'm off to lie on the beach and read my Tom Robbins book!! Love you all
Tric
After a great first year at UNM, Tricia and I have the great privilege of traveling to Thailand for the summer. Here's a blog of our adventure that will hopefully entertain and delight. Thanks for visiting.... full info
