Spectacular photos!! Oh my gosh, I hope, that when I retire, I can afford to do this. It looks so beautiful. What great memories for you both! I love the underwater photos- great photography. I am glad Lyn enjoyed the quad bike and was able to keep up. Terrific. Keep the great pics coming. I am enjoying reading your blogs. X
Fabulous photos Oh I cannot wait to get the van out and go travelling!!! ......one....day :) In the photo of 'the bay from the lighthouse', is that the rode you drove along to get there? Have fun
Thanks. Thanks for all your comments Sue. Yes, we have had some great 4X4 off road driving opportunities in the NT and WA and where we are at Coral Bay is no exception. I must also say, we feel extremely privileged to have the opportunity to see all that we have.
Thanks. Thanks Roz. We planed for this for a long time from our bucket list and it looks like it all came together and is working excellent for us. I am also glad you like the photos as some of the places we are visiting are spectacular and very hard to take good photos of.
Your pictures capture the beauty of the outback so well!! Loved the aboriginal drawings in your last entry. It must be great to be able to explore the area now, at your own leisure.
Thanks Thanks for your great comments. Yes, it is fantastic to be able to fulfil the dream of travelling Australia and seeing up front what our great country has to offer.
The sheer size of the country alone is just one of the things people just don't appreciate and to be honest one can't unless they experience it first hand.
Hope all is going good for yourself personally and at work.
Stay tuned for even more photos as we have been travelling Lake Argyle, Wyndham and El Questro station and gorges etc. The adventure just never stops.
Great places to visit. Thanks for the comments. At least if anyone asks us what are the best places to visit we will be able to tell and show them all about it.
Australian Adventure Thanks Kerry. Yes we are having a great time. We are really pleased we have the time to take our time and have a good look around rather than just passing through these places. Hope you enjoy your travels just as much.
Australian Adventure Thanks Sue. We are trying to visit and "spend some time" in as many places we can given we now have the time. So many people say they have seen a lot of places, but really they have just passed through them. I don't know how people can say they have seen places when they do the circle around Australia in a couple of months. There is just too much to see. Even now we will have to basically crisscross Australia a few time to take most of it in. Regards.
so many memories It is lovely following your travels. This is where we went, on our trip with Robert and Tracy, last year. Great memories for me. Have fun xx
Three and a half years ago we decided to become Life Style Changers (LSC's / Retired ) and intend to spend as much time as possible travelling and visiting as many places we can across our vast and beautiful country plus as much of the world as possible.
To assist us in this quest, we have taken up "house sitting" and caring for other peoples pets and have enjoyed this so much we intend to continue with this as long as our health allows.
Given it may be some time before we can meet up with many of our wonderful friends, we have created this blog so that we can keep you all up to date on ... full info
