2 inches out of domestic jurisdiction Tuck those tablets, capsules and tinctures 2 inches out of anyone's jurisdiction and you're sure to be well served.....enjoy the insertion!
yeehaw Reading about the start of your newest adventure makes the start of my work week all that much more... meaningless. Thanks for the inspiration. =)
What do they think of Americans now? who took that picture and what do they think of our brash, free spirited, do what I want, *pale* American rear ends now?!
I'm not sure you helped international relations with that pose!
taking a risk Mark and Leighann....I admire your risk taking, at a time when so many couples your age are worried about their 401k's and how are they going to "keep up with the..." both of you took a risk...in each other and created lifetime memories. Way to go!
20 page papers Keep on keepin' on, having fun that is! All of us readers seem to be enjoying your global explorations as a way to supplement our lives. In between lengthy research papers and struggling to master APA style writing and citations, I can catch up on the travels and tribulations, and the pictures! Mark, you keep missing several spots shaving. Damn those catapillers grow big out there!
Sincerely,
Grad Student in New York (procrastinating by reading your emails)
black friday While you were avoiding bushes, I braved the retail weekend. It's all a sham. Nothing I wanted was on sale, yet there were herds of people everywhere, caught up in the event like sheep on your island pasture. Except Washington Square looks nothing like Milford Sound.
TPS reports Franson, I am sitting in my cubicle reading your blog after spending the last 4 hours in meetings and eating a boxed lunch. Sounds like you guys are having a blast, I am so jealous! I miss you, keep the updates coming. It's nice to get a little snapshot into paradise during the workday.
Not in Iraq anymore Ok you're in an amazing place but as far as I'm concerned I'm in a better place...back in the USA! Its wonderful to be back and I miss you both so much. I look forward to celebrating with you upon your return. Keep up the great blog. Les.

ugly Yeah, poor you guys. Way to live in the moment! We just got back from Hawaii but I must say you have us beat on the incredible hikes and private beaches you're experiencing. Living vicariously through you guys is pretty damn great! Have so much fun and enjoy!
green with envy... as you two explore picturesque beaches and sample the local wines, we're removing layers of rotted drywall, building a fence, and tearing out molded kitchen cabinets. life isn't fair. truthfully though...you guys deserve this, and i hope you're savoring every moment. we miss you.
Nice Blog Yeah, Ok....I'm envious. You drink wine and take pictures of the lovely landscape! I'm envious....I have to blow some sand out of my nose...hold on a sec...phew, much better. Miss you guys and I'll be in the good ol' USA tomorrow
Get Lost: SE ASIA 2007
No job. No plans. Just 5 weeks in Thailand, Laos, and Vietnam.
This isn't meant to make you jealous or sad or angry that you are sitting in front of a computer while we float down the Mekong. Mark and I traded in months of free time to work hard toward a goalto travel. It's a choice. That's why we drive one car, so we can afford to see another part of the world. We travel to understand and experience culture. To feel small, scared, excited, humbled, but mostly, free. For that brief moment in time, we shed all responsibilityjobs, furniture, mortgages, commute t... full info
