Joy In Heaven And On Earth! Our dear friends, brothers and sisters, we read with tears of joy the wonderful news of our new brother in Christ. We thank you so much for allowing us to share in your happiness. You and your wonderful family are very special people and especially in our hearts. If there is anything we can do for you here in the states please let us know and we will do all we can. Thank you again for thinking of us at this happy time. To God be the glory!

Thanks Thanks for the report. We continue to appreciate your good work and keep you in our prayers.
We keep busy with the Gatlinburg church and the school of preaching. We look forward to the time when you all will take over Rod's classes at the school and then we will just concentrate on Gatlinburg. Don't let rats and drunken mothers-to-be discourage you. You are doing a work of eternal importance. Love, Rod and Brenda
porky the kitimoto Your washed in the blood experience fills me with gratitude for the delightful bowl of steamed asparagus I am enjoying for lunch! Love to all -- Kathleen
Cow George make sure you buy a cow from Kenya so it will be tender enough to eat otherwise ya'll will have to smoke it all and eat jerky a lot! Loved seeing the pictures and reading about the pigs. just ken
p.s. Cy writes that Blind Man Moses passed from this life just in case you had not heard.
Thought provoking Thank you for this unfiltered glimpse into Tanzanian life and the Swahili language. We are praying for you and the entire family always. May God bless you all as you labor so diligently for Him.
Love,
the Hecks
Really Good I really like these songs... I think our songs are too often about speculating about heaven and not enough about teaching and admonishing. Thanks for passing them along! If only I knew the tune and could speak Swahili...

Congrats! One of the great encouragements to me since I have been on the mission field has been reading your updates from the mission field. Though I wish I knew you all better personally, I have come to admire and respect you through these reports. I really love all the Jensens that I've met, and am sure that your collective family adds much to our Lord's kingdom. Great job on your 4 years in the field!
It is always such a blessing to hear what the Jensen's are doing in the Mission field. I know that the Iringa church will greatly benefit from 3/4th of the team that started out several years ago in Moshi with TZ2000, where I might add, ya'll did a wonderful job working with that congregation and school. I miss you but the Lord can use His people anywhere people breathe. Hope you have a Blue Bird Week. just ken
Yours is such a great journey. I am thrilled to have a small part in it (being part of a donating congregation). We constantly pray that God will guide and protect and will add the Parish family to those prayers.
Thoughts George, Joy and family,
Sure miss fishing and eating ice cream with you. How is Jacob doing? We think of you often and pray for your success and safety. We ask Lee and Julia about you everytime we see them. I hope you get to go hunting soon. Take care my friends. My God bless ALL of you. We love and miss you.

We love and appreciate all of you, Jensen family. Keep up the wonderful work you are and have been doing there! May God continue to bless and keep you all in His constant and loving care and protection!
none Thanks for the update. I remember the dirty water of Africa. That tub photo brought back many happy (?) memories. We used to do hog killing back on the farm in indiana when I was growing up. A missionary has to develop a lot of skills, doesn't he? Brenda and I have just returned from a three week trip to Australia to visit Brett and his family in Tasmania. I preached for the three faithful congregations while there. We enjoyed our grandchildren and getting to see old friends, visit familiar places, and eat our favorite Australian foods. The time in Tasmania was fun. The travel was not. I don't care to see the inside of an airplane again for a very long time. We had our choice of being photographed nude or being sexually molested in a body search when we arrived in LA. We opted for the latter. I wish we would just profile like every sensible nation in the world rather than subject travelers to such extreme, immodest and ridiculous invasions of privacy. We keep you in our prayers. Keep up the good work. Rod
Hi George. I enjoyed your report. You and family are doing a very good work.
I am encountering some of the same mind sets as you on line with WBS. I hope to make better and better aguments as I contend for the one true faith of Christ.
Give my love to all.
Karl
Heard that one before I can't say how many times I have heard, "saved and then baptized after" and yet somehow, "baptized for the remission of sins," but I know it's been many. I only had to make the mistake of not getting someone to write down what they did to be saved prior to the study once to see what the Devil's deceit causes us to do.
Keep up the good work. Always very encouraging!
Great News George and family,
This is so good to hear. The simple message being delivered in a simple manner. This is what is needed in countries all over the world.
Keep on keeping it simple.

This is one reason I love the Jensen's so much-you take the time to let the word take it's time to work on the heart. One thing about being a seed spreader is you never know just when the word is going to take off and do it's work but one thing we can know the Lord knows how to save souls and His word is the way he chose for us to save them.
I miss you Jensen's but I am so thankful to be on this blog list at least it puts me in the general vicinity of your minds and hearts which is a wonderful place even if we aren't face to face. One day in Heaven we will be once again. just ken
Little Steps Become Big Ones! I really enjoyed this entry. It really is true that what many would consider ordinary/routine or even mundane can bring great joy on the mission field. It is great to hear that the brethren have taken this step. Keep up the good work! We love you all very much.
There is life and then there is "real life" real life is where you Jensen's live and work. I am so grateful that the Lord saw fit to cross our paths this side of Heaven. The older I get the more I realize just what a blessing that encounter has turned out to be. I am never dissappointed, never discouraged, always lifted and elevated to wanting to be more for the Lord than I was before when I read and hear how you are living your lives. God bless you. just ken
Our family has participated in numerous mission efforts over the last 20 years. In 2005, we had the great privilege of traveling together as a family to India, where we worked for one month. We began contemplating the idea of doing foreign mission work. In May of 2006, our whole family spent the month of May working in Malawi, Africa. During this trip, we observed the great need for more teachers and preachers in Africa. After much prayerful consideration, we made the commitment to move to Tanzania, Africa and work with a mission effort known as Tanzania 2000.
