Praise God that everyone is ok. It will be a few days before they can say they are fine, I guess. I know that terrible feeling of wondering if your loved one even survived, much less be ok. We are all thankful. Pat
prayers of thanks! I can not help but cry for you ...literally!!! I am sittingh at a kiosk in a hotel in Tampa, crying, the folks around hopefully aren't paying much attention. But I am so very thankful you all are ok!
I know how you feel I really do know how you feel as Kenneth and I were in a little accident in Aug. last year. We were neither one injured but the car was damaged but repairable. We were thankful for both those facts. It is a very scarey feeling to be going through the process of the accident. I occasionally relive it in my mind as though I am viewing it from the outside looking at it. I feel the bounce of the car as it settles down and I realize I am not hurt and that Kenneth wasn't either. Then I look at the car and see what happened and realize it could have been so much worse. So yes I know the feeling. I am so glad for you that your accident wasn't worse and that all survived. Love Ferrell
Prayers We hope that all works out for the best for you. We are praying for full recovery, both of your health and property. In Christian Love,

The Lord is good all the time. What a blessing prayer is and how much of a benefit it is to his children. We are so thankful and grateful to the Lord for sparing all those in this accident. As is often the case in Africa it is not if you will have a serious accident but just simple a matter of when you will have it. You will continue to be in our prayers. just ken
Good Job Joy, Very good post. We always look forward to reading your entries. Smile. So, you DO have the TIME problem. We had that in Jamaica--a lot. When you find the magical connector that opens up the minds of these kids so that they make the connection between what is being taught and the application... Very few really seem to make that connection. Sad but true...I remember two in particular in my teaching experience. I was teaching on modesty, and halter tops. She said "but I wear halter tops!" and never came back to church. The other was similar, but I was teaching on 'being kind', and that we shouldn't make fun of other children. The young girl didn't say anything verbally, but she was rather well off, and her family was rather snobbish...and you could see it in her eyes--she stopped coming to church also. The saying is so true, 'Christianity has not been tried and found wanting; Christianity has been tried and found difficult'. Only of course because we make it that way, but it should change us, and most of us don't like change...often even change for the better. Keep up the good work. smile-- Love you all, Donevy
an epiphany Hey George, all these years I thought and Impala was something one drives--you know like a car (Ha! Ha!). I guess I was "berry" wrong (private joke for all you internet lurkers).
Jensen family, we think of you often and thank God for your continued faithfulness to the cause of Christ. You are an encouragement to so many and know that Africa has been blessed by your presence. May God continue to bless your good work. You are in our prayes. John
Always something special, always something new, always something exciting, always something valuable, that pretty much sums up your work in Moshi. Girls Class-Terrific idea! God bless you. just ken
Washing machine blues Hello All Jenson's , It was nice to see you at Arusha the other day . Anyway's , a couple of weeks ago , I found a taruntula-like , red , big , and hairy spider in the washing machine . Thankfully dead . So now I think twice about sticking my hand in those clothes....Thanks for the spi- , I mean pictures ! :-) Lindsey
Important work that you do What a thrill it is to read your newsletters. Your work is so important to the progress of the Kingdom. Very few of us can say we feel overwelmed with our work in the church. The Jensens are an inspiration.
Keep it up the Lord's work because one day you'll find it takes longer to rest then to get tired.
Speaking of jogging..
I like jogging, except for the part after you put on the sneakers!
spiders Spiders are like snakes-I only hate big one's little one's, small one's and big one's, live ones and dead one's. Thank you no for the picture of the spider. It was so nice to have two views of the spider. Maybe the "hunters" could shoot it!!!!!!!!!!! just ken
Congratulations The Airport congregation was glad to help you buy a new stove. Your visit recently was a great encouragement to us.
Jacob, congratulations upon your graduation. We look forward to much fruit harvested to the Master by you and all the George Jensen family. God bless all of you in faithful labors in His Cause.
Glad you are back in the saddle so to speak and enjoying your work in Moshi again. The New Stove sounds wonderful and I know, having stuck my feet up under your table several times, it will be used to the greatest good. I was thinking that you probably won't be cooking on the Barbi much with the new all gas stove, too bad, because there are not many women I know that can cook a graduation cake like the one you made on a barbi. You are something else woman!! Have a wonderful week. With much love and a bushel basket full of good wishes, hugs and thanksgiving for all the good work your whole family is doing in Tanzania. God bless. just ken

comment I'm glad to hear that your travels are going well. Sorry to hear about Lindsey's teeth - I've had that done (not fun). You all are still in my thoughts and prayers, and we have been praying for you at Eastside as well. -In Christian Love, Patrick
Our family has participated in numerous mission efforts over the last 20 years. In 2005, we had the great privilege of traveling together as a family to India, where we worked for one month. We began contemplating the idea of doing foreign mission work. In May of 2006, our whole family spent the month of May working in Malawi, Africa. During this trip, we observed the great need for more teachers and preachers in Africa. After much prayerful consideration, we made the commitment to move to Tanzania, Africa and work with a mission effort known as Tanzania 2000.
Our family arrived in Mos... full info
