The last couple of weeks have included a wide variety of activities. One of the highlights for some folks in our family is the opportunity to go hunting here. Hunting season runs from July to December, and so George and the boys, along with another missionary, Cary Samford, have fit in a couple of hunting excursions. Unlike most foreigners who have to pay big bucks to have the opportunity, our resident status helps the affordability factor a great deal. One of the great benefits is the fresh meat that we've been able to have, which has helped out our freezer a great deal. The wildebeest provided a lot of freshly ground meat, and the gazelle and impala provides great tasting roasts and loins. This last Monday they took one last day trip. Luke stayed home, and Julia joined in on the fun. You can see the pictures to get the rest of the story.
This afternoon we welcomed into our home a group of young people from the congregation here in Moshi. George started out the get-together by passing out some trivia questions, all related to events in the book of Genesis. One of the subjects that bombard students here,
as well as in the states, is the teaching of evolution, and so we want to do more teaching on this. After our class, we had lunch, and watched a movie. This is a treat to most kids here, and they seemed to enjoy it.
We've received several packages in the mail recently, and we are so thankful for those individuals have been so thoughtful!! Our holiday was made more special, and it has been so nice to know that others are thinking of us.
We are fast approaching a new year, and wonder what will be in store, as we continue our work here in this great mission field. Our love to each of you, as we continue our partnership in the Lord's work.
In Him,
the Jensens

Wow
You all must have quite a large freezer to store all of that! I'm glad you all got to have some fun though.
