Thank you for sharing your holiday with us I am going to miss my morning ritual, reading your blogs with a cuppa in hand. What a wonderful holiday you have had, and friends you have made :) I have loved every minute. I know you will enjoy seeing your beautiful family when you get home. Safe travels xo
Vacation Blog George and John, I am truly enjoying your day to day excursions. You both do an absolutely wonderful job of describing your daily activities. You should both consider being travel guides in your retirement! I am so happy you are having wonderful time! Talk to you when you get home.
I start my day with you :) we are with you :) every morning when I get up I read your blog, I will miss it when you go home. Can you stay on holiday?? I love your awesome day up in the Alps and around the lake. Love you xo
We feel your presence with us. Your names come up in conversation often as we tell the story of how we met on our Italy trip and have become special friends. :)
Love your blogs and photos Glad you are having fun and the weather is shining down on you. I love reading about your adventures, you paint a great picture. Thank you for sharing :) We are enjoying a peaceful weekend after much craziness over the last week! And the sun is shining here too after a very wet week. There are Rugby and Australian Football grand finals and the World Cup Rugby to be watched, Greg is outside in the hammock reading, the birds are singing and I am going back to my paper. Our love to you both xo
What a day that was! I got exhausted just reading your entry. How exciting for you to have all those memories. The evening sounded lovely and romantic!
My favorite photo in this entry! Yes my fav. photo is the ladies picking grapes ,so like mom and grandma! Love it. your journal or blog entries are very informative and quite descriptive; I feel like I am there with you.
The Hills Are Alive... Hoo Boy, your experiences are reviving vivid memories of treading the same paths forty years ago (yikes) with my high school German class. (That Baron Von Trapp business is a brilliant marketing device!) Lucky for us our \"chaperones\" hit the Bierstuben every night and left us teenages to roam around and practice the language our own way.
What I wonder is do they still roll out those carts every evening heaped with sizzling brat-, weiss-, blut-, knock- and more of the best wursts in the world? Including whole roasted chickens for 4 Marks?
Other travel news has Sadie and Greg arriving at Antelop Wells today, on the Mexican border over in New Mexico. (They started peddling down the Continental Divide in Canada!) From there they are going to hitchhike over to Tucson (can\'t bike on I-10) and spend a few days with us. Nice!
John
