New Zealand Hi George & John I am really enjoying reading about your travels. When you travel on your own versus tour group you can enjoy picking out your own restaurants seeing exactly what interests you at your own speed.
Happy travels---Sharyn
Vacation Hi George & John
Sorry you have been sick. I feel like I am on vacation with you. I could feel the bumpy ride in the airplane. We got about 8 inches of snow here. It is going to be warm later in week so it won't last. Have fun. Sharyn
You had me rolling on the floor in laughter! Boy you are on a roll tonight, 3 blogs! Loved reading our days from your perspective. But you must be tired, you had us driving to Queensland! Maybe another holiday ?❤
Christchurch Hi George & John
George, I am glad you are feeling better!! I enjoyed reading your blog about Christchurch. It is hard to imagine the devastation of this city, and how the people have been able to recover. Happy travels!! I will look forward to your next blog. Sharyn
Good morning Hello :) I love your blogs, you have inspired me to revisit ours over the weekend. You make it easy to picture where you are! We are in party mode here. Was Brian's 21st yesterday. Family celebrations last night, party tonight, then into the Adelaide hills tomorrow with Von & Tom for lunch at a winery to celebrate Tom's birthday. It is cold here (but only by Adelaide standards!!) but nearly spring :). Sounds like you are enjoying the boat, hope you are feeling relaxed and energized. Keep on blogging, you bring a smile to our faces :) much love xo
Wonderful Way to Begin Sounds (and looks with photos) that the first several days were exciting, beautiful, comical, adventrouous, wonderful, beautiful (oh, I said that before), wondorous, wily, worth (it), and wanky (a British term, I think). Georgie, you continue to be a great writer and capture all the important and fun things. I forgot about Sunken Garden's greatness and don't remember the Cove but it is very picturesque (that's a good word for your scrabble game).
Things are going well back at the Ranch-I had a great time with Nolan and Circus Juventis--those kids (10 - 21) are bright, energetic, F l E xib LE, and fun. Also, Mi Mi's stay was great after a good meal at Macaron Grill (which she "ate the whole thing") and the night venture with me and my C-Pap and she with her animal that has a light that sheds stars on the ceiling throughout he nite.
Pat and I are having fun, went to one two movies Hope Springs and Campaign (too much swearing and f. this and sex that) and I made some marinated chicken on the grill and tonight again but I get turkey hot dogs this time. We watched most of "The Meat Train" with Brook Shields (On Demand for free) but we had to stop because of all the butchering (really the protagonist was a Butcher) and all the blood, etc. Oh well you can't win them all.
I know you will continue to have a good time and we will keep up with your blog.
