Wow! Hi there: You all had an absolutely fantastic time obviously, and I (might bring Brian) am definitely going to make every effort to get there before you both leave.
Lots of love to all.
So good to get your blog at last Hi Fo - just got the computer up and running again and loved to read about your life in the USA - it's good to see the photos and know you are having fun out there.
Luck of the Irish Hi ladies - glad to hear you're both having such a good time - sounds like there's plenty to do and see - loving the contrast of skyscrapers and beach. We recently went to Dublin - no green beer there - but plenty of home brewed Guiness - of course like you, drank it for experimnetal purposes - and of course tastes better in the homeland but head ache just the same wherever you are in the world!! SOLD sign now up outside Bushbury - quite surreal - nice to see Snow Crop has a new home - your flat looks great. Looking forward to the next Blog - Hugs T and T X
God that brings back old memories!! Yep, it sounds the same as when I lived there and by god you sound like you are making the most of the Windy City! MMMMmm I loved the food and all the drink and put on the pounds too...but hey it will soon fall off once you start training and running each morn!! heheheh
Love Tricia and Oxana
xx
There's a theme going here... ...eat and drink, then drink and eat to get over the previous day or night's eating and drinking. Then party some more with friends, usually celebrating something, eating and drinking, and then go away to... you guessed it, eat and drink!! I've so envious I can't tell you!! Sounds like you're making the most of life out there and hope it continues. Kx
Lucky, lucky buggers Hi Girls,
Sounds as though you're having an amazing time, very envious reading your blog!! Especially as it's raining very Welsh rain over Mumbles at the moment. So glad you've made some good mates already, who all enjoy the same hobbies as you two, namely drinking lots and buggering about!!
The apartment looks fab and the views breathtaking, really chuffed that you've settled in so well. Haven't been on many nights out recently but have missed you both on the ones we have been on. Keep in touch girls, great to hear about all your news, with love and hugs from Lucy and Kel xxxxxxxxxxxx
PS Glad they don't dye the rivers red here on March 1st !! Minging!!
Green Beer! Wow girls, you are having a grand old time! Now, are you sure that was green beer and not pints of creme de menthe? (which would account for the hellish hangovers!!). C xx
Sounds brilliant! Hi Fi and Sarah,
Sounds as if you are having a truly fantastic time over there, it is so interesting to read your blogs especially when you are in Bradley Stoke!!! Keep them coming
Lots of love Is xxx
Transatlantic and pacific comparisons..... Things I love about this:
1) It sounds like you are having a blast and have made some good friends
2) You drank in a bar called Wise Fools. That must have named it after you.
3) You have a friend called Dusty. The Aussies are equally odd. Off the top of my head, Fergus and Angus spring to mind.
4) You are not writing this to avoid writing 4000 on the body condition of fish
5) If I can afford tickets for the hideously overpriced Splendour in the Grass festival tickets for the day I land back in Australia I too will get to see Florence and her machines......
6) In keeping with your trip and my living in Australian cowboy country I too hope to own a Stetson. I am only Skyping you if we are both wearing them and practicing our worst cowboy accents.....it may also be an excuse to purchase a fine horse, although I am not sure he/ she will fit into the space my Skype camera is capable of.....
Miss you soooooo much mate. Love to Sarah and BIG UP on our meeting soon. I think as soon as our flights are confirmed we should get our party planner (aka Nats) onto it.....YEE HAA.
Living the dream... Hey Ladies,
Thanks so much for the blog - loved it!! Fi - I reckon you could go join Sarah in that Dyson creative team with those writing skills! Sounds like you're having a good time and getting to know your way around - it always takes time, but you've defo done the right thing by sussing out yor favourite bars and food joints first!! I look forward to news of sightings of famous people next (mainly the cast of ER I guess!). Lots of love from boring old blighty!! jem xx
Hi Hi Girls
Good to see you are ok and having fun. Lol at Sarah with the vacuum, has she worked out how to turn it on yet?
The anti smokers sound more pro-active out there. Lockett has given up smoking! Holding my breath.
Lockett had her school inspection last week and it was a huge success, she has done amazing. The stress leading up to it was great and we are now very relieved that we can come up for air and think/talk about other things now.
You take good care and see you soon. Give us notice of when you are popping back as it would be great to catch up.
Hugs

Hilarious! well I chuckled and Dad laughed all the more ...all pics are good but we both love the pic with Sarah and shamrock's on her eyes!!heh heh!
Dads comments that is seems that the prohabition you thought you would have due to prices of booze seems to have been resolved by the discovery of watering holes and happy hours...@ 2 dollars a pop we are both looking forward on our respective trips to getting suitably hammered!!!!
Dad reckons at those prices you must spend a fair amount of time; knowing you two; in the 'rest room' AKA bogg!
We look to the next installment !
Debs and Dadxxxxx
I want some chicken wings! Ah, how I have enjoyed your second instalment! Love Sarah's arty shot of you, with said cocktail (which is what btw?).
I feel shocked (and slightly jealous) by the number of bars/restaurants/chicken wing places that you guys seem to have - I can see why it is ever so slightly impossible to squeeze in the odd five-a-day or herbal tea. It sounds like heaven though.
Your episode with special agent super granny left me feeling unnerved Fo - she sounds like the equivalent of the good old British battle axe who has too much time on her hands. That, or just good old fashioned mental health problems!
Haven't been on FB for agaes, so will check for further updates/messages later.
V.glad you have found your permanent abode. Give Sarah my love and tell her not to work too hard!!
Miss ya xx
Hi guys! Great to hear from you, glad I made the blog list! Hope you are both ok and look forward to hearing more of your american adventures. Lots of love.
lucious boozers of Chicago! Debs and Dad here..Sarah's lot!...well we are just catching up on the blog as I have been away this weekend!
Well althought we had a natter on the dog and bone saturday still great to see the pics and all the stories...we have had a good old chuckle!
We llok forwar to the next installement and we will catch-up soon.......suppose there wil be no need to visit one those trendy ice bars in Chigagi as all you need to do is snap of an icecle to stir your apple martini...have one for us!
Love and Hugs!

Aw, that's brightened up a somewhat dull Monday lunchtime... I'm glad so far that the experience has been totally surreal yet positive. Look forward to hearing about Ms Westbrook's first day at work - can you ask her if she's seen the Kone by VAX, will Dyson be producing a light weight hand held vacuum that doubles as low level lighting? Have fun out there and be sure to let me know when you're back for your 6 monthly check-in. Lotsa love xxx

My, that made me chuckle.... Wow - what adventures you are having already!
The flight sounded fantastic - how will you ever cope with Easyjet (or worse, Ryanair), again Miss Fo? That immigration fella sounds very scary - triple gulp!!
Food sounds amazing. I want ribs 'n' shit for $11. I want to paya visit to the food court. Andy would be in heaven! Please have some Chicago town pizza soon and describe every mouthful in your next instalment. Even better, FedEd some over...
So, are you very much feeling the anti-cig vibe over there? I'm still 'smoke free' (as they say at my stop smoking group). It really has got a lot easier in the last week or so. I'm not going to preach however (nothing worse than an ex-smoker!). I can't believe they don't understand your accents! You're not THAT Bristolian.
Missing you guys!!
