Fear is at the bottom of much.... Excellent comments and perspective on "what will others look back on our time and bemoan."
Great post and pictures. More posts like this, please!
Couldn't stay away... Fantastic that you could jaunt over to Germany and enjoy a biergarten. I know how you love it there. The best we'll do here is the Haufbrau House in Vegas! I'll bet your core body temperature is finally dropping. Safe travels!
So fun! I'm ashamed to say my experience with changing seasons is limited. I've always wanted to see the fall colors in New England, but Germany . . . even better!
No Pics?! Seriously, we're all awaiting the photos Mr. Slater. Quite slacking and send them already! ;- )
Glad to hear all is well in India. I'm sure you're having an unbelievable journey. Thanks for the updates. Keep 'em coming...
Ah, personal space, a privilege so often taken for granted. I'm thinking maybe those living in India have no choice but to "violate" the privacy of others. With explosions in population resulting in overcrowding, I wouldn't be surprised to find that natives consider personal space a foreign concept. Nevertheless, I'm hoping you're able to carve out some for yourself somewhere along the way.
Personal Space Interesting thoughts on personal space and globailzation.
When all else fails, just hug the person next to you. I bet that'll make 'em take a step or two back.
awesome I'm so excited the travel journal as begun! I hope you are settling in. What's the time difference there?
Keep the entries coming!!
PS Anna loves looking through her photo album and finding pictures of Uncle Mark!
