April 10, 2009 We finally set sail at 8.30am with a good forecast,waterproofs on & wet weather gear as it was very wet at first.It was great to be leaving due to our four days delay.Great to see our friends at that time in the morning waving us off.We felt we were finally on our way. As we approached the bar we could see a flotilla of yachts heading for Porthmadog. We recognised them as from Shell Island & it was great to see them waving. It was sad seeing the Cambrian coast & the Llyn Peninsular sinking behind us and not knowing when we would see home again. The clouds started to clear & made way to blue skies & that lifted our spirits thinking of warmer places.All we could see were our cruising friends
