I write easy day because today is our acclimitization day, where we 'rest' so our bodies acclimate to the 14k ft elevation. So, on this day, the three of us did a 2,400 foot climb to the top of Nangkar Tshang. In reality, it was a true test of endurance, to realize if I had what it takes to make a similar climb from Gorak Shep to Kala Patar (18,200), the elevation climax of my trip. The way up me, Buddhi, and Phorbu talked the typical guy conversation, but it was lots of fun, and i'm so pleased how great we all get along.
