Food Well antlers, looks like Shimlas just will not do the trick anymore,I mean a pile of green stuff, accompanied by unidentified vegetables lying on a wooden plate,no doubt prepared against the inner thigh of an Indian Momma, sounds like a sure fire problem for the Sherriffs badge. Come to think of it, all of a sudden, Auntie mary's soggy mince n' tatties sound rather tasty!!!!!!????Your trip seems to have broadened your horizons, allowed you to witness human deviants, see some decent architecture, eat food of unknown origin/ or parents, and wash as infrequently as you dare, all in all, these life changing events could have been experienced, viewed, tasted and felt in Kilmers, well, all apart from the deviants that is????
See you soon? Are you home yet? Best,
Five pies Da
Computer Illiteracy! Moosimus, it's only taken me until you are coming home to realise that I can put a comment on this bloody thing!! Looks like you've had a fantastic time dude.. Photos and blogs have all been absolutely superb, good to see what you've been upto while the rest of us lead average and boring lives!! Will no doubt catch up with you soon dude. Safe home.. C.S.
Hi Michael Delighted with your latest blog and loved your pics and comments. How are you going to cope with not so sunny Scotland? Look forward to hearing more about your trip when you get home. Wilma
Hi Michael
What wonderful adventures you have had. Your Mum has brought me up to date with all your blogs and pictures. I cannot wait to hear it all from the horse's mouth when you come home.
Lots of love,
Aunt Anne xxxx
Great photo! Hi, Michael.
These photos are outstanding. The ones from Thailand bring back memories. Am thrilled that you are getting to see all these interesting places. Take care, and looking forward to your next posting.
Thanks Thanks for sharing all your travel news and gorgeous photos with us. I almost feel as though I've made the trip myself. Enjoy the rest of your journey.
Great to see some quality adventures being had, I bet the ladyboys in Bangkok loved your sparrow legs! Looks like the Ganges has a lot in common with the Clyde except that the Indians have the decency to cremate the bodies before throwing them in! Have fun and stay safe on the rest of trip. PS, bring me back one of those crocodile hats if you get the chance!!
You certainly seem to have had a great time - as usual photos were great, and there was me thinking you were a big boy ! Enjoy the rest of your adventure.

Your journey north will def be jam packed, make sure you get to Jodphur etc and take a camel safari through Western Rajhastan. Your beaming with happiness dude, so nice to see that, take care, hope you do not get sick again, deli belly aint good!XX

Nice pins! Helli Moose, great to hear you are keeping a low profile over there, football? I told you to pack the proper shaped ball as a present, 5pies an Phil in Orkney today working? on a hotel project Mum is flying there as I type this.I see your taste in burds has maintained it's usual dire pinnacle,But I suppose with the Mc Laren genes you have no option! Now driving what Bean used to have, loving it! fast n furious a bit like your dose of the runs no doubt? We had dysentry in Morocco a few years ago, so I can imagine the pain, just make sure you stick to the vindaloo and you will survive, all love from Ravenswood n Kilmers, JJK
On a mission Aright Moose! Glad to hear things are going so well. This is the first time I've had the chance to sit and have a good read at your blog and it sounds like you're having an awesome time in fact you’ve kinda captured my imagination now and I’ll probably find myself reading some back dated ones as a break from my thesis. Things are ticking by as per here with many picking up sticks and heading off or returning home and settling down. I myself am torn between the two and will decide in 2 months time. Look forward to hearing the next instalment and glad things are going so well. Mik
Longer legs than the sparrows!!! Michael Maclaren loved your blog what mystical indian adventures you are having so funny!! they have multi coloured chickens in china too!! so weird. Looks like you were a bit hit with the kids but the question is were they skinner than the sparrows? cant wait to see you, currently in Bolivia puking my guts up due to allergic reaction to malaria tablets!!!
miss you
Moose Man! Lookin good big lad and glad its all going well. Just got back from South America so will write with a few stories soon.
I hope that tan is real and not out of a bottle!

Michael,
What a great adventure, tummy problems aside! The photos are geat and really add to the narrative. Not having seen you for a LONG time, it was good to see you and to visualize some of the beautiful places you have seen, not to mention that in at least some of the pictures, you have managed to have a REALLY good time there! Take care and I look forward to your next adventure.
Worldwide traveller Hi Michael, I think your next employment should be as an author. What great reading and super photos. Sorry it's taken so long to reply but moved house June 23rd and only got online again today July 10.
Much as I'd love to visit this super country 'fraid it's not for me as holes in the ground and charging cars and not my cup of tea. Keep the news coming please and continue to enjoy yourself.
I am ENVIOUS! Michael, I spoke with your Mum and brother this morning and heard about you latest adventure. It sounds challenging ( should be right up your alley!)
Would love to be there, except for the privy arrangements. Tried that at a monastery in Thailand a few years ago. Was a bit younger and a lot more agiule then. Take good care, and I'll be looking forward to your next posting.
Delighted to get your blog and read it with great interest. Glad you're not yet suffering from The Indian Trot and trust this will continue! I hope I've got your permission to print everything since I've already done so and I'll pass it on to your Mum tomorrow evening. Look forward to hearing more. Look after youself. Love, Wilma
Stirling Moss Glad to see all is well and that there is a place on this planet that would give your dad's driving a run for it's money! My Indian contact says take a trip over the hills to Kerela and you can eat those holy cows as Kerela is a Christian province!! Kids send their love and B and me tooxxx
