Diving in ABC KL hot? U must be joking! It is practically wet, wet, wet here at the mo. Tropical storm every afternoon, I need a pair of wellies just to cross the road for lunch! U going to do the ABC dive - Aruba, Belize and Cancun? Envious! Hey, Minh and Yog, how about a welcome home party for C at Carnegie? If the Matador Bruceferos finally comes home! Hey, Hemmingway, don't forget to update your blog!
Sipping Beer! At the moment i am in Campeche, on the Campeche/Yucatan border! So went from San Cristobal, to Tonina, Palenque and now Campeche.... the beer is still cheap, but its getting damn hot now (like KL) but most places here do not have AIR CON!!
I am planning to SCUBA in Belize (the blue hole)....
Thanks for the tip YOGI (mental note on racist comments LOL).....actually i am staying away from religion and politics (well discussions with fellow travelers - you have to think to much)
I expect more intelligent comments (not) from the both of you (you know who you are!)...... :-D
Booze, Minh etc Have a go mate! Its just no fun holidaying without the odd tipple or two. Btw, have you managed to relish the savoury (or should I say unsavoury) taste of the famous worm that can be found the bottom of a tequila bottle?Glad to see that you've met a few interesting people along the way but mate, promise that you won't beat them up for making any racist comments (private joke)...
I note Minh's in...always a pleasure but Minh boy, try not to outshine Brucederos. Afer all, its his blog. Viva!!!
GPS Hey, where are you now? Basking in the sun in Cancun? Or, brushing dirt in Yucatan? Suggestion, just post a comment to indicate where you are sipping USD1 SOL whenever you are online, then Minh and I can be jealous together while we are wallowing in our 15 hours balls breaking mill.
Only NOW??? Only NOW i get access to the Brucederos Travelblog?
ONLY F-cking now!
Suck eggs on the budget accommodation in Singers...could've put you up at my little pad....but NO...only decide to inform me NOW of this blog.
Notwithstanding mate..you are having an absolute BALL..whilst I am breaking my balls in the office 12-15 hour days mate! Giiiidddeey up cowboy!
Pollo Mollo, oh lala! Many miles you have covered! The photos are fantastic and of course, the narration is first class. Hmmmm, Bill Bryson in making. Random House, be ready.
Pollo Mollo sounds heavenly, you have got the recipes? Collect enough recipes, you might even become a chef! Will buy you dinner at Sandias at Damansara Height when you are back. Then, you can tell us if the Mexican food is authentic. (If you havent got an overdose by then) One thing for sure, SOl doesn't go for USD1 in Sandias.
Again, well done, syabas.
envy your journey Hi, Craig. How are you? Sam, Japanese, here. it was good you found your baggage at Mexico. hahaha !(^o^)!. Your journal report is so great. am feeling like I'm travelling with you la. can't wait your next journal report. Enjoy your safety journey! tell you I got 3rd place of PD sprint triathlon race last weekend. got a trophy and hamper! Happy!
Photos Hey, Champ, one photo per week? Is that the ration? It is a nice photo, but it doesn't really whet our appetite for tequila, fajitas and enchiladas. Press on the gas a bit, would you?
Besitos avec salsa et nacho
Damn luggage!!! U got some guts choosing to fight for the wherabouts of your backpack in Mexico rather that SF. Bloody lucky result me thinks! Keep up the updates - nothing makes me feel better at work than reading about someone elses travels OS.... NOT!
Hasta la vista Good to know that you touched down safe.
Aha! All the delays in SF was God's way of giving time for backpack to regroup! hmmmm.
I talked to Pamela, who lived in Mexico for a few years (now Las Vegas), she said Good Luck?!!! And... don't panic if you find the supermarket is an aviary in Mexico, wild birds fly freely in supermarket.
You found your long lost swiss knife, but now it is under the custody of American Custom? Bummer indeed.
Keep updating the blog, Can post some photos of authentic Mexican food? Pls, not that of Taco Bell!
Besitos
Stuff that got added to this list! Actually a lot of stuff got added to this list such as a few water proof containers for electrical stuff (like small tupperware containers!). Some oven bags (1 gallon and smaller ones) for anything that is 'water sensitive' (e.g. tablets, certain documents etc).
I ended up bringing a phone in case of emergency and for the odd text message updates for certain people (very conveniant).
Opening the Innings Mate, i just thought i'd start the ball rolling. As suggested yesterday, a water-proof pouch for important documents would come in handy. Never know when you might get drenched to the skin!!!
If I don't see you before you go, have a good one...
