Welcome Home Boys! Welcome back, guys!
It's great having Ari back at the Two Rvers farm every morning helping us grow and deliver food for the Foodbank, schools and Seniors.
That's full circle!

Home again, home again... Great to see the pictures and know that you are back in the homeland. One question, how did Ari pick up the local custom of wearing shoes so quickly??
warm emotions I am transported back to esta querida comarca (this dear valley) by reading your journal entries and reviewing your photos, evoking the same feelings of warmth and love that you write of. Thank you for the vicarious journey to a place so dear to me - it feeds my soul.
I am so pleased that you two have had such a wonderful trip, and I can imagine how hard the farewells may have been for you. May you have a safe and reflective journey home! Since I've returned to the US, I have missed drinking mate with others - perhaps I will be able to offer you a mate when you return!
hola de Montpelier del este Just catching up on your travels. We're so envious, but your pics and stories will inspire a return to SA. We saw lots of Bimbo bread trucks in Mexico, too. I see you flew on Avianca... Back in the 80's Avianca was commonly known as Ave nunca! We managed to get a free nights' stay in Bogota due to a flight that was 6 hours late leaving Quito. The airline put us up in a hotel that was by far the fanciest we had stayed in during our 7 months in SA! So enjoy your last weeks and if you miss connections may you be treated well...feliz viaje!
Hola!! How is my Spanish?? I so look forward to reading about your travels . . . I, for one, will be sorry to see it end! Did you ever think of being a writer, Paul? As I read your "blog", I feel as if I am right ("write") there with you. It is so fascinating and what a wonderful experience to be able to travel together. Enjoy the rest of the trip and keep those "blogs" coming!
Love, Carla
Hey Paul and Ari, thanks for including me in your list. It's been great reading about your adventures. and, thanks for the draining water info... I've always wondered about that!
best,
debra
Thanks for the new blog Hola! It is really funny to understand that where you are, Autumn is on the way while we see buds swelling, the peepers are making a rucus, snow tires are coming off the cars, and many more signs of Spring. The Southern Cross, wow. And the farm sounds like all you had hoped for and more. We hold you in our thoughts and hearts. :o)
great photos Hello Paul and Ari,
This is my first chance to see your blog and it's impressive! The scenery is so colorful and that blue sky looks so clear and crisp, just like a perfect autumn day in VT. In fact, even reading your text I can see the similarities to the best of VT. The extra openness and hospitality sound ideal. It will be fun to hear the details of your story later. Enjoy all the moments.

Brazier Road featured speakers That'll be the two of you when you get back here. I'm looking forward to more pictures and lots of conversation at our next neighborhood gathering.
I had no idea... Ari and Paul, thanks for including me. I had no idea.... What beautiful countryside and your pictures....Gorgeous. When are you returning? I should be seeing you the end of May...hope you'll bring more pix! I'm so proud of you both for your convictions and that you live your dreams.
Oh that blue sky... Dear Neighbors: Oh boy, that blue sky and the crystal clear vistas of mountains opening into infinity are such are welcome sight. We are in the second straight month of gray Guangzhou skies (relieved occasionally by shades of greenish-yellow or dark brown... very picturesque). Your trip sounds filled with intriguing opportunities. I envy you the time to study language. Stuart and I meet with our tutor 3 times a week, but we have no time to study. So... absorb well and treasure that gift. Much love, Ellen
hello from North Carolina What a wonderful treat for us to receive your blog. We are doing mundane stuff like packing for our move on April 24, so vicariously experiencing your adventure adds spice to life amongst boxes. We await more. Have fun, appreciate one another and the fact that you are doing this together!! Love, Dee PS. It is Passover, what a change for you guys from kugel!!
Hi dear friends. I'm on a new computer now...actually a hand me down from Andy and it is so much faster that I'm able to get all your fabulous photos and text. Ari, I think about you there and wonder what things you are observing that seem different culturally? I look forward to much talk when you come back. Carolyn
just to say hi!!!! Rachael is keeping us updated on your activities, along with the blog news. All sounds very exciting and different and everything it should be. Things here are fine. The sun is beginning to warm things up, the wood frogs are talking and the birds are chirping. Tippy sends slurps!
Great trip, great writing, great guys Thanks Paul for including me and I'll have to deal with my envy in my own way. Your writing which is at a professional level really captures the places, Ari and you. Enjoy.
