Chavtastic Well, well, well, I'm glad to see that the "Chavs...." left a lasting impression on you wee scottish lads and lassies!!! Since we left you in Palolem your trip looks amazing, seriously what an amazing time! See you in June! xxx
Happy New Year! Hi you two!
I can feel a 'Dom n Jom Big Trip' publication coming your way. I can just see it - Best Seller in Borders Bookshop!
Glad you're both doing well and looking froward to seeing you in June!
Love Gx Px and Lx
Just love the story about taking the guys you had been playing football with along with you to the Blue Nile Falls! Great to read what's happening, keep it up!
I have been eagerly waiting to read about your latest shenanigans and was not disappointed, sounded like you had a great time/rest at Christmas, glad your enjoying your journey, I'm certainly enjoying reading about it. Take care.
Looks like your having as much fun as you planned. Now lying on the sofa for 6 weeks after having my ACL done. Hope you have a great christmas and dont have too many "Glasgows"
I've really enjoyed reading your journals and following your travels, making me very jealous though, not that I don't enjoy working at DBS and getting to work in this rotten weather, you feeling bad for me yet... Can't wait till your next update, have a great Christmas
Send us some sun! Good to get your update. Always a great read, although I do turn into jealous lugs, wishing I was there with yous. Anyway, the weather here has been just awful. Its been raining and blowing gails for weeks! As you will know the Christmas festivities are well underway. We got our tree at the weekend which is a whopper-all 6 foot of it. We just about managed to get it into house, tee hee. Have a really special Christmas and new year guys.
I'm not jealous??????? Well I have finally got round to getting the green man off my shoulder and have caught up on your exploits. Sounds like your having the time off your lives!!!! whilst the rest of us are rotting in sunny Springburn, bitter, nooooooo! Anyway thanks for the sunshine, looking forward to your next instalment, and for goodness sake sort out the persil, thought you be locals by now. Take care!
six pack Hey Dougie, you been workin out or is that your ribs poking through from your skinny wee body? The Giardia will do that to you if you insist on drinking the Nile rather than haggling for water.
Fancy some frems Aye, looking good the both of you, nice to see your letting jools have a shot of the keyboard dom! She's giving you a run for your money.
All is well back in Scotland, had a mad mental one up in Aviemore with the boys, if you're travels take you there then go to the mountain cafe for a mountain breakfast, it's a nice hangover stopper.
Look forward to the next installment, we're between broadband suppliers in the hoose but I'll send yous a bigger update when we're online again.
you lucky beggers!! Just had a look at your blog. Quite brilliant. Really enjoyed hearing all about your travels and seeing the pics. Now Jules, did you take my advice about the dummy wallet? Tee hee. Take care and look forward to your next instalment.
Logging in! This is my first look at the blog! I am very impressed. It is great that we here at home can be kept updated with what is going on in your big trip. The photos are fantastic. You both look really well and relaxed (not sure if it is the result of the massive bong that Doug is sampling!!!) Hope you are having a fab time. Take care! Look forward to catching up with the next leg of the trip.
Much Love Nic x
Whaur's the loo roll? I didnae get the drooth bit? And the cludgy looks ok tae me. Better than Govan. But whaur's the loo roll? Even in Govan we had Scottish Field. Ephesus is just how I remember it, gye hoat, and pretty impressive. Camel's heid reminds me o somebody.....cannie mind who. Stay Alert, always, obviously the camel didnae!
My Throne! Lol, guys, seriously, after viewing your 'deluxe toilet' I think I'll appreciate my own throne more than ever!
Loving keeping up-to-date with all your wee stories ;)
Sharon xxo
P.S Eh, is that hose that's hanging up to the left hand side of your 'Deluxe Toilet' picture used to wash away....what I think it's used to wash away?!?
That looks pish I'd rather be up the club than be travelling around and not working for 18 months....
I think you could be a travel writer dom, I'm sure that would be your dream job. Anyway, it's Friday efternin and the back peddle is in motion. Contrary to my cliched persona I will not be venturing up the club, instead I might have a quiet one. Oh look there's the 2pm Bacon Express just flying by the office window.
If you can add in a tally of pool scores that would be great, dom v turkey, dom v japan etc
Keep up the good work, excellent story
The Big Trip is exactly what it says on the tin. We'll be visiting roughly 50 countries over the next 18 months or so, travelling from Istanbul all the way east to Tokyo and back before sauntering from Cairo to Capetown, crossing the Atlantic and heading northwards from Patagonia to Miami. It ain't a trip for the faint-hearted but we're sure you'll enjoy the ride.......... full info
