Wow! What wonderful experiences you have had. I'm sorry there'll be no more blogs; somehow"Tales from Bracknell" does not have the same appeal. Thanks for sharing these experiences with me. Hope to see you on your return.

Clarifications - 'We' did not name the car, it was him - I think that is a bit odd....

u damned rascal lost around the world........!I wonder whether u might have lots of trouble to choose the right place for u to stay....and settle! Merry Christmas and i will wait for more stories from Ian "the Great". Saludos
Way to go Ian! I'm glad you made it up Avalanche Peak. That was one of my favorites. If you'd quit/died I'd have felt a little guilty. Next time we'll have to to the Avalanche race, they hold it every year to see who can make it from parking lot to summit and back fastest. You down?
did u see our footprints... ......i am loving this part of your trip - you are literally following in our tracks, (although some of your pics are better than mine so will be needing copies - after all i have been so its not my fault that i a am rubbish at taking pics !!!!!)

sufferers all the same! Ian,
Another great blog! Just letting you know, it is hereditary, we suffer the same windy-puffs in Canada!
Have a Very Merry Christmas and keep the neeeeeews coming.

same jump! Hi mate
great update, brought back very clear memories of doing that exact same jump last year. and while the adrenalin rush on the first jump just cannot be beaten, the second time you do it its far more relaxing and you remember a lot more of it, so well worth it :-)
looking forward to seeing that dvd !!!
Best one liner Of all the bad, corny, and occasionally terrible one liners that you enthusiastically throw out there, this one was the very best.
"I felt for her, then she slapped me and called me a pervert"
Rodney Dangerfield is smiling, well done
Ka Roimata o Hinehukatere What do you mean strangely familiar to home. We visited Ka Roimata o Hinehukatere yesterday or Fox Glacier as you probably know it which cascades approximately 15 kms in length from thousands of metres up in the mountains. Don't remember seeing one of those out the back of the chip shop in Bracknell!!. Good to see you enjoying your travels though. How's Nubie. Hope to see you soon.

Just returned from a mini sailing cruise from Alicante to Balearics - pales into insignificance compared to your trip. But we did see a whale and have a dolphin swim with us for a bit! Take care, Pat (Gym)
