Arizona winter Hi Debra,
So good to hear from you and get your travel blog. It is great to know about all the beautiful places in Arizona. It sounds like you are having a great time. We are having a storm here today. We had a one week vacation and it was nice but not long enough. We are seeing Louis and Dody on Mar 17 for lunch and looking forward to seeing them. All is good and we are looking forward to spring!!!
Take care and enjoy the rest of your stay.

Response Hi Folks. Appears you are having a good time. I visited Tuscon and played golf with the original 4 -Bob, Harry, Rick and myself. I love playing those courses. Target golf which suits my game. We had a ton of snow Saturday night, another storm on Tuesday, another storm on Friday. When it is over, I think I will go skiing. Can't wait to get out of Dodge. Was talking with Don last night. He may leave in a week or so. He may pick up Jonathan and I at the airport. Hoping he can cook a few meals while we are golfing. Off to hear the Premier's address Wednesday night. Take care. Hopefully Debra is healing in the warm summer sun. Daryl
In conversation with Don and his "adventure" I suggested to him he should write a blog during his travels and he told me about your blog. Such a great way to keep everyone connected Look after our friend if/when he arrives in Arizona.
Response That part of your journey sounds fun. I always to do the same thing. It's on my Bucket list. You will be glad to get to Tuscon, I'm sure and get settled in. Be sure to buy the tape entitled "Blue Clear Water" I did when I was there and played it each day going to golf course. Talk soon. Daryl
Fascinating Great blog Debra & Dana and very interesting - we shall follow your Arizona trip, and its certainly encouraging us to replicate at least part of it.
Lessons I read somewhere that if you play golf in one hemisphere you should not practice or take lessons in the other. Something about negative gravity, spin, and the dark matter. Your slice becomes a hook and vice versus and then you become completely screwed up. Practice putting is ok however. Better for you too.
Glad that you are enjoying yourselves and I hope you left your food scales behind. I've heard the olive oil argument before. The answer to all edible oil questions is canola from exotic Saskatchewan.
This winter is one for the record books here. I just looked at our power bill covering Feb 12 to March 14. It has a graph of current year versus prior usage. Last year the line took a nosedive in late February. This year's is flat lined on high. On Wednesday the forecast is for big nor'easter expected to deliver 40 to 50 cm. It will go well with the 150 cm in our back yard now. But I hear that the daffodils are up in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
Paula is spending the week in Long-boat Key, FL. A neighbour of ours has a place there and the man of the house is in Colorado skiing so PLK was invited down. So, having nothing to do, I might as well bore you.
Hi Mike Based on your theory of golf lessons, it's obvious to me that my game would be superb if I played on the Equator, assuming the same principle that Daryl applies on his story of way a pigs tail curls in both hemispheres.
Matrix We're glad to see you continue to enjoy the Cape. That Matrix software looks terrific! I've bookmarked it for future use. Hi! to all there and remember - Hou links!
Welcome back ! Lovely to have you back in Gordon's Bay, and to be able to enjoy the wonderful Starlight Classic Concert with us. A beautiful evening, enjoyed by us all.
Armchair travelling with you! Since we've spent the last 2 winter vacations with you, it's nice to vicariously travel to South Africa, too. Thanks for taking those of us still in the frozen North on such a great adventure.
Happy trails to you.
Love, Paula & Mike
You people are such show=offs. It is a balmy - 26C here today and skin can freeze in a few minutes which is why I am staying put inside.
No relief in sight for a week or more but surely will appreciate Spring if it does indeed arrive.

Looks like you are having a great time and you look so comfortable sitting at the table with your bottle of wine. Makes me envious but after you telling about the long flight and the recovery time it would make you think about a trip like this. Party on my friend but next time I would prefer Debbie\'s picture , you operate the camera.
Details Hi,
This blog us a great idea. Looking forward to reading all about your adventures. Did I send you details about our arrival in Cape Town? Sorry, cannot recall!
