YUMMM I am so glad to know that you are enjoying authentic local cooking (even if its from the microwave). I remember eating something, when I was really small, that Grandma Stella said were frog legs. I liked it cause I kept eating it and it had a tomato based sauce on it. Somewhere along the way I decided that she was teasing me and I was eating ravioli or something like that. Mostly because I will occasionally eat fried frogs legs now if they are on a seafood/fish buffett, which is pretty common here in the south and I dont think they taste the way the stuff Grandma Stella gave me did.(that is one of those run on sentences I am legendary for) Well anyway the cave pics are really cool I want to show them to step cause he will get a huge kick out of them, but he is in bed already. Maybe tomorrow. I am glad you are feeling better the flu stinks at the best of times I would hate to be sick when I was away from home so I feel for ya. I am really sorry about Aloewishes. ((HUGS)) to you. I saw your twinkies and the note Grandma sent, she has the prettiest handwriting!! Well I have rambled enough for now. Love ya!
hey Quasi So the song that is being played during the first video sounds like it came from the Fifth Element. You remember the part where the blue lady is singing before she gets shot up. LOL I love that movie. Well how fortuitous that Carnivale just happened to come round when you were in France! ALL the good stuff happens to you. Hopefully we will talk to you soon. Love ya
long time no see Hey, my love, I am glad you graced us with your Blog presence. I am curious to know what Mr. Frenchie said that made you lose your temper you will have to let me know when you get back. You must make crepes when you get home so I can taste a fresh one. Would you like me to send some peanut butter your way? I dont know that I could live without it. On purpose anyway. well talk to you soon
Love ya
Sympathy Der Debbie, It sounds as though things are getting tough but I know you will be able to handle it. Really enjoyed hearing about scarey Peter. Hate those kind of birds. My son says they are flying rats. Hang in there we are all rooting for you. Love, Aunt Pearl
Due Diligence Keep up the hard work Debbie!
Take time to reflect on the many obsticles you've overcome since leaving RIC and the valuable lessons learned along the way. Soon you'll be settled into the semesters' schedule and will be able to focus on the task's at hand.
It was nice to see (Skype) you Friday night and hope you've had a nice weekend.
Love, Mike
PS: You may consider putting a cracker in your pocket to use as a decoy incase Peter gets too friendly, :) lol!
ummmmmm Its really a good thing you are a neat freak!! Otherwise you would never fit in that tiny apartment. I am so mad that you get to go to far away lands and hang out with beautiful people. Thats ok when you are rich I will come to your parties and meet all the smart beautiful people and live vicariously through you. Hang in there and you will be just fine in your studies cause you are one of those smart beautiful people too. Love you

ha ha gansta upbringing? ROFLMFAO that looks ridiculous anyway I love the blog it is nice to know your making friends. Even if they are mostly american. Love ya
Thanks Hi Debbie, I finally found your blog. Sounds like you are doing great and already having adventures. Tom insisted on having ice with his coke when we were there, and the waiters would bring a small separate dish or glass with about 2-3 small ice cubes. Everybody would stop and look at Tom like he was a zoo creature or an alien from another planet. too funny.
Looking forward to the further adventures of "the American student in Nice". :=) Love, Aunt Debby
Long day Wow what a long day! I'm glad that you are settling in. I can not believe that you have never done laundry. I all you did was dingy up a few white stripes I think you will be fine. Besides your Netties daughter and no one does laundry like she does. Some of htat had to have worn off on you. Well hope to talk to you soon.
Love tons
Galadriel
