About Half Way Through Dear Dave, I guess mom forwarde this to me. What a wonderful adventure. I really enjoyed reading this and look forward to more.
Continue to stay happy and healthy.
Much love, Barbara
Sri Lanka -- Ommm! Good decision about Sri Lanka -- I'm still kicking myself for not going to the Grand Canyon because it was 70 miles from my planned route! Also, what a great opportunity to partake of some Buddist traditions and sites. Now that you are traveling, maybe you should invest in an Indian Kurta (pajamas) -- when you come back you will be fully transformed -- afterall, all those Indians can't be wrong. I heard about a guy who moved to the US from India in his early 20s say that when he first arrived he registered as a Republican. "Easy mistake," he said, "I'm a Hindu... they are elephants...." (okay, it sounded funnier when he said it). Love, Arlyn
From rich and snowy in grey zones Hi Dave, I have heard about the poverty of India and seen it in photos but then I watch a Bollywood movie and think "Where are the poor people?" The Sadhu you met reminded me of the book "Sidhartha" (do you remember?). It's amazing to me that, with so many poor anyone could survive on alms only. I hope you are taking a lot of photos (and will post them for us). Love, Arlyn
Checking in Hi Dave,

Good to hear you had a good trip there!! Sounds pretty amazing and heartbreaking at the same time. Please post some pics soon. I'm enjoying your office and have decided to turf you and have now made it my own complete with prints, pics of the boys and Bella, and of course all of the shoes I own in my closet. Say hi to Lela.

Missing my hugs!! Hey Dave: You can't imagine what a hole is in my day without my hug. I hope you have a wonderful time. Everything here is just about the same. Renee seems very comfortable in your office. Ami leaves today for a month, and comes back our Sup..Although, no official mention has been made, she told me she has had her police check. How is the heat? Where are you exactly. This is a really cool sight where we can keep track of you. XOXOXOXO Susan
