your blog about Holland Dear Dave and Jenni,
I have read your travelblog about your visit to Holland and it was very interesting! I am Dutch myself and for my Geography Masterthesis I am doing research among tourist bloggers from abroad. Your blog caught my eye because you visited some less famous places in Holland, like Wijchen. It is so interesting to find out why a part of the tourists in Holland visit those less famous places next to the highlights like Amsterdam and its surroundings.
That's why I am wondering if I could ask you some questions about your visit, to complement the info in your blog. It won't be a long survey, but more of a short interview-type conversation about your experience and opinion.
You would help me a lot and I am also very curious to know about what you think about Holland and the reasons why you choose to visit it. I really hope to hear from you. The interview will be used in a completely anonymous and confidential way.
Kind regards,

Suddenly thought I hadn't checked your blog for a while and see you're almost home! Wow! Sounds like you had a great time in Rome. It is such a great city. Glad you got to see the "Irish game". My sister was there and like most of Auckland was bedecked in green. The RWC is taking off. Someone at work decided we would have a decorate your workpod competition - our team got given England so guess who took charge! They are only relaising now that they may have unleashed a monster! Off to Melbourne Oct 7 to me Ju after she's been to the ACEL conference and we'[re having 5 days in Melbourne. My first "Holiday" since the end of March. Great stuff. Hope the last few days and the flight home go well.
Sigh!! Work has been full on. Hence silence. But at last we have the new trades academies announced and planning for start up. Looks like you're packing heaps into your time. Glad you enjoyed Florence. Think it is a most fantastic place with so much to do and see. And eat and drink. Oh to be in Italy now the World Cup is on!! Sigh! Enjoy Roma!
Message from Father Hello there you two, I am in your study with Penny's Mike and he is typing this for me.
I am fasinated by this technology, but I have no understanding of whats going on!!!! It was good to talk to you the other day on the phone and to hear your voice.
I am well now and although I wasn't 100% last week, I am fine now and being well looked after by the girl that comes in. (Note from Mike: She vaccuums, cleans, tidies and is a real honey. Father wishes he was 40 years younger . . . . . He took her for coffee the other day to Sosskys and the staff were intriged).
Alex is fine, she has been very good but still as mad as ever. I walk her every day - twice, one long walk and one short walk in the evening. Mike has put the chainsaw, weedeater and the cantelever umbrella on Trademe to see if they sell.
You look as you are having fun seeing as we can see you in the photos, I was touched by the one of Dave at the Bridge to far. Wonderful! Enjoy the rest of your trip, love you both, Dad
Toronto Hi My Sis, Looks like you are having a fantastic time. The falls look wonderful. I Phoned Dad he is fine so don't worry. We all well, enjoy Belguim and don't forget to get in touch with Mandy.
Enjoy.
Snow in PN Oh what a wonderful time you are having. We are also enjoying a unique experience for the Manawatu with heavy snow fall yesterday afternoon/evening. It even snowed at school as I was leaving work. The roof tops and ground were covered. Robert took our two boys Manuel & Austin to the Pahiatua Track to make a snowman but by the time I got home there was enough snow at our house to make snowmen. Austin was out untill dark enjoying the experience. This morning it is like a picture postcard! Keep on enjoying the warmth and do think of us from time to time. Now that I know how to follow this blog I will check in more often. Take Care
Butchart Gardens are totally fantastic although I have never managed to achieve their level of maintenance and manicuring. Inspiration for when you're home!
